Confusion about reincarnation

This is just a thought that occurred to me. It is said that you reincarnate here on earth, i don't know how many times (i haven't counted them yet sorry :)) then it is also said that you can talk to deceased people in the astral.

so my question is, can you meet everybody that dies in the astral afterwards?

and people who die, do they reincarnate? if yes, then you can't meet "them" in the astral.... or can you?

i was just wondering (as always) because I seem to notice that everybody can talk to deceased relatives via mediums or whatever. well, do relatives not reincarnate or what ;) ?

i have at least come to doubt the thing about reincarnation as you seem to be able to meet all your old friends and familymembers in the astral. you would not be able to do that if they have reincarnated here on earth..... or what?

then, if i have lived before, that means that i must have died before also (whoa guess that is the ultimate in terms of logics huh?), could i have a astral copy of my previous self floating around in the astral... or at least some thing containing the essence of my previous self?

Yes people, throw in your cents 8)

i don't know nothing but i believe it is said that linear time itself, like we know it, does only exist from the perception of an incarnated beeing. it exists on other levels as well, but not as linear rule, rather like a toy that can be ruled by any entity or higher self. this makes words like 'previous' and maybe 'copy' rather meaningless.

okay, i am stupid to try to write about this in english so i am out ...

I agree. Linear time is the invention of the physical reality. In the astral it does not exist. There are many dimensions running at the same "time".Thanks to that you can you can meet anyone anywhere, even yourself ( so called aspects of ourselves). Our physical existence is just a tiny fraction of all experiences we have, we had or will have.
Remember that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, not the other way around.

Once I read that actually we're living several lives at the same time, in parallel, so when you see something of past lives what you're really seeing is a life you're experimenting at this same time in other "place".

The text followed saying that our soul is like a giant tree and its branch tips our actual lives so the current acquired knowledge is transfered constantly to our main trunk, reinforcing our true soul's power.

So, it is as if we were tinny processes (us) launched by a grand operating system (our high soul) and stacking the experiences in our hard disk.

It is a bit difficult to swallow this theory but our concept of the universe is so dim that we shouldn't discard anything.

And about reincarnation most theories say we're here to learn, to comprehend and to manage the energies around us. As we fulfill it our karma (or study-planning) is being cleared up. The experience is stored in some of our bodies (mental, I think I remember) so with the appropiate evolution in one life we could scrap that knowledge.

so what you are saying is that i actually can meet myself in the astral?? well am i then me, or is this person in the astral then me?

i am not really sure i understand though..

could somebody explain the idea of reincarnation where this concept of "no time in the astral" is incorporated and do it in a way that makes just a little sense :)?

Seeker of Matter

oh sorry, didn't see your post there :)
