okay, so my husband tells me that i frequently talk in my sleep in some alien language. . .has this happened to anyone else??

and how many people have had nightmares of earth destruction? i had a streak of nightmares for a week about fires, explosions, screams and etheral suffering. like the earth itself was dying. i mostly saw just blasts of fire.

Heh my mother apparently used to talk in german in her sleep, but she never knew the language. I'm wondering if she's the reincarnation of Hitler...

I've had end-of-the world/existence type dreams for as long as I can remember. I think on the whole they can be fairly common.

Awhile ago I was on Edgar Cayce's site browsing around. I recall a parent saying that their child would talk in German while she was asleep. She started to wonder whether her kid used to be a German in another carnation. I myself used to talk in my sleep, although I don't know if I still do. But, it was usually just incoherent words rather than another language.

As far as end of the world type of stuff, I've had many dreams like that. Most of them were floods, however, over the past couple of weeks I've had 3 dreams that included massive explosions.
Leaning over
Crawling up
Stumbling all around
Losing my place
Only to find I've come full circle.

That last one I had was last week, a giant epic dream like a movie. THe entire UK was being evacuated. I guess it wa s aglobal warming/rising sea level kind of end to the UK.

Other dreams have been asteroids, aliens(!), nuclear war etc.

If you have a tape recorder of some sort ask him to record it:)

Me too.  Ever since I was about 12 I had the same tsunami dream- but not for Indonesia, actually for Puerto Rico (where I grew up.)  I think anyone raised in a christian background would probably have that programmed into their subconscious.  (And even if not, the whole western culture has an 'end of the world' type of tendency, IMO.

I always spoke english as a child.  (My first language is spanish).  When I was about 11 we had a major earthquake and I woke up in the middle of the night screaming 'we're having an earthquake!' and woke everyone up and after it was over they commented on me screaming it in english.  They thought it was hilarious.  Apparently I dreamed in english and it carried over to that moment.
