Sounds perfectly legal based on what I've been taught about plagiarism at school.
You can PARAPHRASE with out PLAGERIZING. All you have to do is change a few words and there you go. You have done no harm by changeing words...so therefore you cannot be sued. Also if you quote a book, you must give author, date, copyright date, book, page and publisher. That is too tidious if you ask me [;)] just paraphrase :)

When somebody asks a question, is it legal to paraphrase information that you have read in books regarding that question as long as you give credit to the author?
