Hey everybody. This guy taught me almost everything on astral projection that I know today. I never have bought anything from him except his evolution ebook. It's a good read. I know a few of you don't like his stuff because of the negative entity stuff. I tried Tom Campbell but I had a very very hard time understanding him. William Buhlman has been great for me now. I been doing this since I was 18 and I am 22 now. I was just curious because Robert Bruce has taught me some amazing things... I wanted to see what you all think!

RB has a knack for making things very easy to understand and you can tell that he knows what he is talking about. I think he is able to get through to beginners more easily than a lot of other well known authors and authorities on AP/

But like everyone else, his beliefs dictate what he sees and thus what he learns and reports back. We don't have to aree with everything they say to like them. At least I don't. :-)
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

Actually, TC does not teach any OBE techniques at all. I do not yet understand why he is often listed among other authors/teachers such as W. Buhlman or R. Bruce. TC is all about theory. He gives some more general meditation tips and some tips on how to behave or deal with NPMR once you "are there" but I've yet to see him with a kind of "how-to" workshop for OBE/AP, which I assume will not happen. His MBT-trilogy book does not contain any tips on OBE either.

Bruce is among the first authors I encountered outside of ancient scriptures who addressed projection in rigorous and technical detail, and I am thankful I found his treatise around 1999 because for the most part it is a good introductory primer.

I disagree with a lot of his underlying theory, and I very much think he tends to scare a lot of people and sow fear where it doesn't need to be regarding "negative entities" and defending against them. That said, all of the major authors have a bias. I think a beginner should start with 2 or three of them at least, so they can get an idea for what is common to most practitioners and what material seems specific to each author's world view. Bruce very much fits into this category for me; if you understand his perspective relative to others, he can useful.

I'm a Robert Bruce fan, and I have to say that he has changed a lot regarding negative experiences.  Obviously, his beliefs are his beliefs, but many of them have changed.
Why?

Thanks for the replies everyone.

CFT- I remember you over on his forum... Do you know if hes coming out with any new ebooks soon?

I haven't kept up with RB too much in the last 8 years or so... where have his ideas gone CFT?

Same here stillwater I still watch repeats of some of his videos though. I'd like to know how his opinions on some things have changed too. I'll have to give his evolution ebook a read again I really enjoyed it.

I think he has mellowed a little in regard to negativity and is focusing more on affirmative or positive thinking, the 'your place in the universe' type of thinking.  Anyway, I'll duck out now because I don't like to talk about other people except for the usual 'question answering', which I can't seem to resist.
phaseshifter, I believe he has written a book on Kundalini called 'Kundalini Dynamics' or something like that.
Why?

I am not a fan of Bruce's hypermarketing which he freely admits. Each to his own.
