I am a bit frustrated I guess with my current practices. I kind of fell into Astral Projection - it just happended to me one day. I still practice it but I haven't been able to get anywhere really - just popping out for a few seconds and hearing things and feeling extreme preassure. I occasionally Lucid Dream. But these things just aren't enough. I know I am not alone in feeling that desire to break down some doors and really experience the mystery that is always around us. Does anyone know something that will really work. I really want to vastly increase my intuition and knowing and my inate telepathic abilities. I want to be able to experience - I guess this is the key word. I am patient and wisdom will find its way - but I want to experience the mystery and feel it out for myself. Can anyone help or point my in the right direction to find the tools or methods I need?

For me, it has been a matter of time.

I've been practicing astral projection (specifically phasing) for about 7 months now.  And it's been fairly recently--like just in the last couple of months--that I've really started noticing changes in myself... greater lucidity in dreams every night, the ability to "hear" and to follow my inner voice/intuition, keener senses, greater "inner peace," greater chakra/energy activity.

I still have yet to consciously initiate my projections, but I know I'm undergoing some positive changes, and I'm thankful for every one.  I trust that I'll continue to develop.  I'm trying not to rush myself or be too concerned with how long it's taking.  I find that just sets me back.

Keep on being patient and don't get discouraged.  Also don't worry about a timeline... it could be different for different people.  Good luck!

Well, everything I know about phasing I learned from this post.  I find the noticing exercise especially valuable; if you scroll down that post, the word "noticing" will be highlighted.  Essentially, doing the noticing exercise creates a shift in my awareness and helps me try to "tune in" to other "places."

Usually, what happens, is I'll eventually (after maybe 30-40 minutes) get such a vivid "sense" of a place that I can immerse myself in it--actually feel myself enter it, and be able to see, feel, hear, and smell it.  So... I guess in that way, I can consciously initiate the phase.

But... getting to that point while remaining fully conscious is still a rarity for me.  I usually drift off to sleep before I get there.  Either that, or if I am able to initiate the phase, I can't sustain it--usually I get so excited that I "snap back" to the here-and-now.  That's where I am right now--trying to get there more often, and trying to sustain the experience for longer.

In the process, however, I have had quite a few other experiences--spontaneous phases (which you can read about at the bottom of this post by another user.
Interestingly, I also had my first ever OBE, which you can read about here.  And, my dreams have also become a lot more lucid!

So... although I still haven't achieved my main phasing goals, the process has been very rewarding!

I hope this helps!  Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions...
