Has anyone ever had an OBE while driving a motor vehicle? I know I get very relaxed while driving for a couple of hundred miles. I read about someone experiencing this, but is it true?

I'm flying to Taiwan in a couple weeks and will try to project outside the plane. Although you can astral travel anywhere, I would like to experience
another OBE with my eyes open while doing something like driving or riding a bike to see if your body really knows what it is doing. Sounds a bit dangerous, but would like to try. Has anyone experiened this type of OBE?
I read an account of Charles Lindbergh having an OBE while flying the Atlantic and looking down at himself but can not remember now where I read it.
On this subject, I know it's not directly related. Michael Boldea, grandson of Dumitru Duduman (deceased), claims to have had a vision whilst driving. It's believable, for me at least, as it was obviously triggered by something on the outside (which leaves the preparation out of it).
Again, I'm just posting this as a reference. It's up to you whether or not it should be taken seriously, what I believe is besides the point.

I know RB says he has, though I think that was on the forums before this one so I dont think I can find you a link. It was pretty funny cos someone got up tight with him saying its dangerous, and he said along the lines of "yeah well I'd love to be a fly on the wall when you go to the police with that one!" lol!
But he's aussie so there was probably nobody within a hundred miles at the time :D

Maybe it may come spontaneously while driving but to purposely do it might be difficult and dangerous. I'm doing the Mastering Astral Projection program and they warn us not to use the presets of the Brainwave Generator while driving since it is causing drowsiness so it is surely the same with trying an OBE. I felt asleep while driving on the highway :? once and almost got myself in a car crash but the snow on the side of the road was there to help me; so trying an OBE while driving is probably one of the last thing I will try. But when flying in the plane is much more safe! But you have to be a passenger and not the pilot! :D
What is funny is when we are sleep-walking, we have no consciousness of what our body is doing and we can still function properly. Is it possible to wake up out-of-body while we are sleepwalking?

I don't see why it would be a problem, as sleep walkers are mostly difficult to wake up anyways, so you are still in the same state of sleep and dreaming all the while.
I've had epiphany whilst driving-regularly. not obe or disassociation though. Just chakra strobing and tears of joy :-).
Many yrs ago-I believe it was my second or 3rd OBE,a friend and myself were headed for a town and I was driving my ole Peaugeot.
Everything ,just the feeling of being was so unreal.Everything about the day.When as my friend was talking to me I became aware of a very freaky thing, the feeling of leaving my body, only I was seeing myself as if i was just above and out in front of my car windshield.
For an instant I froze and heard my friend say whats going on- whats happening?It was so strange.I did and was in controll of the car.
But in the same instant that I was looking back at myself I was aware that I was also seeing out of my physical eyes and could still somehow see the rd fine and controll the rig. I pulled right over and shut the rig off as it was'nt at all like just driving .I then told Beverly a close friend who Id talked to about past obes etc. and we looked over across the highway(2 lane) and the whole meadow was solid brilliant purple flowers.
We stayed there an hr or so and then continued our drive.
I would like to add that even though this was a beautiful exp. it is nothing I would ever do on purpose and will add( I hope i dont get to exp. it again )!

Later heard and was reminded of a Bob Dillon song about seeing himself looking in his rearview mirror or something like that.Have always loved that song.Prob cause I can relate
