Hi everyone.

I was wondering if any of you ever though about the connection between the astral world and Enigma (the musical project). All of their albums have covers which portray in one way or the other mystical features, for example:

You could say Enigma was a very strong force that got me into exploring my spiritual self, when I heard their lyrics for the first time something inside of me started getting excited for no apparent reason. I felt like I was on the verge of discovering something amazing, something that I always needed to know and feel and yet couldn't for some reason.

QuoteOut from the deep:

We came out from the deep
To learn to love
To learn hot to live
We came out from the deep
To avoid the mistakes we ade

After hearing that I had to dig deeper into the phenomenon called "Engima":

Quote"The path of excess leads to the tower of wisdom..."

Well I'm still searching for the tower of wisdom, and would love to hear other people's opinion's on the subject :)

Thanks

It surely has a lot to do with the astral. I enjoyed the music.
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
than are dreamt of in your philosophy"

I've created a blog of some sort: http://pursuingconscience.blogspot.com/

The path of excess could represent our excessive desire or ego to lead ourselves away from true wisdom the more we indulge into it's desire, and vice-versa. Excess is just strain on the self, and if we retain that energy then maybe we can spend it wisely.

This is funny and ironic to me. As I am laying on my bed while listening To "Goodbye Milky Way" by Enigma on my iPhone, I made that same connection as you, so I opened up safari and googled "Enigma Astral Projection" and the first thing that popped up was this post on this site I had already registered too. Anyway I like Enigma, their music is well done. It has a spacey-vibe that makes you feel isolated- but in free sort of way, and it sounds spiritual.

Strangely enough, back when I first started meditating regularly... I was listening to Enigma's "Return to Innocence" when I had, what I "might" (but don't) consider my first Kundalini experience.
