Lol yea :/ I've been working on expanding my consciousness, and today i was under so much pain! My brain felt like it was pressing against my skull, each step hurt more and more. I thought it was going to implode. While the overall brain hurt, there were specific parts that hurt the most, and i don't know much of the brain so idk what parts are "evolving"

What exactly do you mean by "expanding your consciousness" and what does that have to do with your brain?

astraladdict

Hmm, an easy way to explain it would be to have more conscious of the brain. ( For example instead of 3% it's higher )

I know what you mean >.> I think it can be done without the pain you are feeling.. BUT expanding your consciousness this intensly is a good way to do it quickly and efficiently ;D as some days you may not want to do it.

Lol word brother  8-) It feels amazing though, being expanded and all. My higher self really came to me recently, i started drifting away from meditation and he gave me a.. FIRM reminder, to get back into it -___-

Well, I for one have NO IDEA what you're talking about.

More conscious of the brain?  What?  3%?

No, seriously... what you're saying, LITERALLY, makes no sense in the slightest.

I think that the confusion here is the use of the word "consciousness".. such an abstract term. What I see the OP describing here is more along the lines of "activating" a greater percentage of the physical brain's neural network to facilitate an increase in awareness and conscious thought. The old "3%" thing that we only use a certain amount of our brains has been proven wrong of course.. but many people still hold to this out of date factoid.

I thank you lol, i used the 3% as a way of trying to explain.. but i failed lol.

The method of which he told me is kind of personal.

Your post still make zero sense to me Addict.  Meh...

There's no correlation between "increasing your awareness" or "increasing your conscious thought" (whatever that even MEANS) and your physical brain.

I used to get a lot of pressure and headaches from meditation, and I'm pretty sure (or believe for those that don't go for this) that it was caused by over-stimulation of my brow chakra. If you're working in one area and neglecting the rest these things can happen. I don't know if that's your issue, but I'm throwing it out there. I see a lot of posts where people talk about the "third eye" and want to develop it, but then ignore the rest of the system. You need balance.

how do you do it the other way to only use 2% of your brain

"I wana be fik"

Ha ha I'm with you.  I'd like to turn off my brain every once in a while.

astraladdict

I only use the brow chakra for visualization, over all i'm having help from my higher self working on areas that are "suggested"

I think everyone should do a daily.. Spiral Heart Chakra Meditation :P

Starts from the heart, moves to the stomach, than the throat, too the lower stomach, to the third eye, to the root chakra, then crown.
Its a spiral :D and I tihnk its the best way..
Ill look for the website

Awesome exercise.  Do you do it clockwise, or counterclockwise?  Or does it matter?
