Hello Everyone

The question is:

What is your very favourite thing about Christmas?  :santa:

You can only pick one thing.

Mine is Christmas Crackers

I don't know why they're my favourite, because the hats either fall off or rip, the jokes are rubbish and the gifts get thrown in the bin before the day has ended...

BUT I LOVE THEM.  Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the crackers, in my opinion!!

I love the dinner itself (in 24 evening) with my family. Its very nice, because my cousins and, uncle, adn everybody are very funny and happy. Eating the delicious food with the fireplace nearby, its a very cozy thing to do.
I love you!

the family Christmas garden. every year we set up a Christmas garden with houses and people and a train that goes around it on a track. Its on a big platform that my dad sets up the day after Thanksgiving. My parents are getting divorced this year though, so I set up some houses on a table. Its not the same, but its still nice.

Personally, I like everything about it except all of the shopping. I like how everyone is so happy and the snow and the presents and the food, just everything haha! The music is pretty good too.

Sorry for not answering the question properly its just Christmas is too good to pick one thing!

Kazbadan

Where i live, there is no snow :(

Anyway, i agree with one point with you brettb:  i hate shopping, an di dont like Christmas time in general way because Christmas is a commercial season. On TV, on shops, and everywhereesle, you see all things turned to buying gifts and even more gifts and thats boring. Another things that i dont like: i know that we are modern people but that doent mean that some things should change: for instance i really dont like the TV commercials that shows a "cool" Santa Claus, surfing, or without beard...its stupid. I miss the old commercials with a very kind and gentle Santa Claus, not the "nice dude" that we see these days.

Cristmas season is also bad because we have much pressure to buy things and we need to do lots of things related to work or personal life. So, in resume, i just like the 24 and 25 day. Everything before that is boring.
I love you!

Nay

Poor commercialized Christmas, always getting a bad rap.   I love when we watch a Christmas Story over and over while unwrapping gifts, cooking and eating dinner.  Oh...and how I love the little grins on my childrens faces through out this feel good season.

Merry Christmas Everyone!! :santa:

The plants/foliage: holly, poinsettia, mistletoe, evergreens, the Christmas tree, wreaths, etc.  Anything that thrives in winter is a very special, sacred symbol to me.

like the one synchronized to the song he has playing on a radio broadcaster he has in his house.

i got something else that I like at Christmas. getting presents is great and stuff, but my best Christmas experience was when i got my dad this great gift and watched his face when he opened it.
