Virtual reality games

Do you think in the future gaming companies will make a device that projects you into a gaming world,simular to astral projection but you buy the games. Kinda like in the matrix movies. I think think of this all the time when I think of virtual reality games. I also think if they had technology to do that then that technology would let you astral project for an unlimited amount of time with no rules.

I can see a future technology that we 'plug into' our heads and we experience gaming in a dreamscape.
I mean, our brains are pretty much just powerful computers.  I'm sure someone will figure out a way to 'use the code', sort-to-speak.

I'm thinking the same. 

It could happen.  No need for virtual reality or holograms where you can just use your brains instead to give you the experience.  Seem's much safer.
