help, any ideas????

This sounds exactly like several experiences that my nan relayed to me.  We decided that it certainly couldn't be a dream - very much all too real.  Nan could feel cold and smell smells just as if in normal waking life, and this sounds the same as what you descibe.  It was our assumption that she had an OBE. We put down how clear everything was to how in tune she was.  She also did this without trying, somtimes it seemed to be triggered by going to sleep thinking about a certain place.  Perhaps this is something that you too are a natural at??[^]

I have had several experiences that I have failed to understand, they have always occurred while sleeping so I do not know if they are dreams or something else.
The most vivid experience deals with me finding myself in a church, it is stone or cut block and is a circular or round area, the people are standing - there is no seating, I can smell the incense and burning candle wax everything is in vivid color. After the service, I exit the church to a very rural environment and the children are playing in the long grass on the hill surrounding the church then the priest approches me an in a very concerned tone and visual expression asks me something in a language I do not know (I assumed he was asking how I got there) all through this time I was perplexed as to how I got there (trembling) suddenly I seemed to go through this something - like going down a slide and awoke, I once again was exteremely confused and scared as I didnt comprehend where I was for about 15 minutes or how I got home or where I was at
any ideas at all would be welcome this has happened at other times but not near as vivid
