Has anyone read 'A Course in Astral Travel and Dreams' by Belzebuub? It get's good reader reviews on amazon.
Someone started chatting to me on Messenger and was quite pushy asking me to do the courses. Got a sinister feeling about this.
I haven't done it personally, but I remember seeing some posts on this somewhere awhile ago. From what I remember (and its sketchy) I think the consensus of those posting was that it wasn't worth it for several reasons. Some had issues with his name relative to religion (the devil and all that); others didn't feel they were learning anything.
Like I said, I don't know him and have never been to that website. Also, the above are not opinions, just what I remember reading from others some time ago. But if you've contacted the website and didn't like the way you were treated, then don't go back. I always go with what my gut tells me. But maybe others with firsthand knowledge about him/the course will reply.
As Novice said, Beelzebub --> Lucifer (or some lesser demonic henchman of decay in Judaism). It is not clear to me why someone would wish to name themselves this; I do not tend to place emphasis on western religion, but at the same time it is an odd pseudonym.
I also recall people having experiences with mysticweb- they are cut down the line. I am sure there are some things to be learned there, but at the same time, it seems like mysticweb sometimes takes recourse to superstition and/or strict dogmas regarding astral projection. I would treat it as any resource-take from it what may be of value, and spit out the seeds   .
I took the free online course, but dropped out of it as soon as I noticed that they talked about astral travelling as if they know all the facts for sure. Didn't feel I could trust any information they gave after that.
That guy is creepy. He makes you use names of guides he picks during projections during the later part of his course. He even has an inner circle, a cult like following. Its really wierd.
I have no experience with them, but my memory falls in line with Novice's. I don't remember very clearly, but I do recall a big discussion about it and I think the general concensus was it was not very positive and that it was kind of controlling cult like, but I could be wrong.
My advice, if you get an odd feeling listen to it. There are plenty of other, positive sources for information.
Thanks for all your responses.
Hope you're all well.
