I have a question if i visit the astral what if my mind can't deal with the fact that i left my body, i have tried a few times but never quite got there, but i'm scared that ill go crazy. Any answers?

Your "mind" already knows the truth of your existence.
It's your "ego" that refuses to intellectually allow you "know".

You won't go crazy.  You have non-physical adventures every night of your life... have you gone crazy yet?

I agree with Xanth. It is important to view astral projection as a "normal" activity. As he implies, you project when you sleep - the only difference being that you have no control over what happens in your normal dreams. Control comes either via making your dream lucid, or by projecting from fully conscious (by trance).

It might be best to concentrate on your attitudes to AP, especially eliminating any sense of fear first. I would never recommend projecting whilst you feel fear; that could result (if you were to successfully project) in an unpleasant experience. The only way forward is to think positively and lovingly. It would be better for your projection to happen later and be pleasant, than for it to happen soon and be unpleasant.

If you can't get your head around going out of your body go within instead. I cannot do projection with the outer focus I have to do the inner.
