This guy is indeed a loony toon; our society is perverse for thinking that loony toons that also happen to come with money or celebrity should be given the public eye or that their opinions should be entertained, yet the media hangs on this fiend's every word. He has used the power given to him by his father to conive and defraud the public, often out of millions of dollars. It is convenient that someone with 10's of billions of dollars can back out of his housing development contracts, but that the people who actually purchased homes in those developments are out sometimes hundreds of thousands a piece. I can just see it now... GOP ticket 2012: Trump-Palin; that is the apocalyptic event I have in mind.

He is a vampire, living off the cries of the poor. The majority of the people who watch him and make him rich on the same medium which brain washes them and keeps them ignorant, are responsible for making him rich.
He is a prime example of what is wrong in this world, thanks for reminding me.

I have heard this statement quite a few times here over the years: "I wish the world would end." In my opinion, this statement reflects much about both the world and the individual at the same time.

I don't blame you for thinking this way, but I do suggest maybe it would be useful for reflecting on why you think this; for instance, is there is some psychological need you have that can only be fulfilled by destruction, or moving on to a non-phsyical life? Are you disgusted with what you see happening around you, and wish it would all go away? Do you think that perhaps what would emerge out the disasters would be a new, better and more just world, or one of transcendce? Maybe it would and maybe it would not, but maybe the problem is also one of perspective. I am definitely not saying you have to just accept wrongs and inequities in the world, but perhaps it is a matter of getting past them, and making your life about what you want it to be? I think ultimately wanting the world to end is about wanting something the world is not providing you with, so maybe you can skip the tribulations step and get on to changing your perspective in the present, or seeking meaning on your own.

Hi Stillwater, I hear what you are saying - make the best of it. I'm saying more or less the opposite - and you can't change my mind about the evils in the world, because they are all around us, plain to see - what bothers me the most is that people fail to take any action, and things are just getting worse not better.
I want the world to end for technical reasons not for any selfish reasons - this world and all the evils in it need to be confronted by us and sorted out, not wished away by seeing a psychologist - otherwise we might all be here forever, stuck in reincarnation after reincarnation.
Did you ever think that our job here might be to see the obvious, and take responsibility for it? Maybe God is saying "Love one another - or else!" Or else - you will stay here forever until you do!

I doubt GOD is the "OR ELSE!" God. Though more or less I agree with you, but I think rather than beign an "DO THAT, OR ELSE!" is just a natural consequence of our acts. It is natural that if we dont solve the problems they stay unsolved.
