Just wanted to say,
Happy Dr. Who Day!
ye heard that show been going for like 32 seasons wow that is incredible. must be good. i will have to netflix it and see what it about...
the series started in like the 70's, then stopped for some time, then those brits got it going again a few years ago.
it has been difficult to find the original series online (streaming), so you may want to start with the new series (season 6 started today).
netflix would work i suppose, but that's a lot of doctor to catch up on. start with the 2005 version (i think 2005).
i forgot that some people still pay for things like that. kudos for being honorable and honest.
ic i will def. check it out. and that would be alot, but i do have my days were i veg out on stuff like that. and i get it threw the 360 so i would be comfy haha.
You guys only getting Dr Who now?
That's quite cool.
I grew up with the 70s Dr Who. :-D

Just wanted to say,
Happy Dr. Who Day!
My gf and I just borrowed the first 5 seasons of the new Dr. Who series from her dad. :D
i think it would be cool to start from the very beginning. does the older series coincide with the new ones at all or is it totally different. eather way you cant just start in the middle of things. ha ha get the couch and the cooler ready its going to be a long weekend.
The older series is very dated but fun to watch if you're into scifi. We are talking black and white.
nothing wrong with that. does it stay on track from the old to the new in anyway. story wise haha not actors cuz i know the answer to that one haha.
The Docta kicks A**!!!!!
I tried getting into it but I couldn't get past the first episode...
I guess I'm a trekkie for life.
I watched it last year (or was it the year before) with David Tennant and a few with the 'new' Doctor, but I haven't gotten into it as much. Need to catch up on many episodes.
You will have to go back further than the 70's as the first episode of Dr Who aired in 1963 here in England
Happy Dr. Who Day Again!
dang kids at the place i work at wont let me watch that show they say is dosent make sence. wow to bad i cant beat them haha. none of them know waht it is and they just say its dumb but here they are watching WWF and trying to tell me its real wow. haha just another day at a gov. job haha.
Doctor Who sucks.
Can you prove that?
The proof is in the watching.
I don't think Summerlander is saying that Doctor Who y'know... with his mouth...
He's talking about the fact it's typical British mediocre crap Scifi.
I should have said to me it sucks. Taylor Pelling, a brilliant mind I used to work with absolutely loves it. He is in his late teens and he is far more intelligent than me. Perhaps his opinion is more valid because of that. :-D
certainly not.
my fiance mostly hates it. she can't stand the way british tv is shot, nor does she like british sensibilities or demeanor. she finds it odd.
i say mostly, because this season looks a lot more like american tv as far as how it's shot and the cameras they use. she has enjoyed the first two episodes.
i know plenty of people who think the show is terrible. it's quite alright. i hate reality tv, some people love it, that's ok.
