Title: HARD QUESTION TO EXPLAIN?????
Post by: liz mccal on August 14, 2003, 22:30:44
hymmm,

I wonder what shape is this energy in. I have/do see energy floaties. sometimes in strings (tinny) some times in balls. Around trees especialy a glow and energy dot's i guess you could call it moving in and around the trees. but only when I have my eye's on meaning using light clairvoyance, takes a little focus and concintration sometimes or just a zone i guess. Oh and one more thing i can't follow them just watch kinda like they are dancing & too quick for me to follow a single one. could just be energy clairvoyancy?

Could you explane more?

not really, but that part you said string shaped and also the dots got my attention, do they have any color , because what i see are transparent and for some reason they wont go away because everytime see them the follow my every eye movement, some are stringy and others are dots, the dots are kind of a grayish color, could you tell me how big the enrgy things you see are, the dots i see are like the dots you would see on a connect the dots game but much more active (joke) but they do look like the dots on the game, do you have any other explanantions to this matter, thanx hope to hear more replies[;)]

i think i know what you're talking about... i've seen them for a very long time, also... i usually see them when in really bright light or looking up at the sky.  they are clear, but they seem to have centers, kinda shaped like red blood cells.  they look like cells or little microscopic organisms under a microscope to me.  they dash (float) out of your direct vision really fast, usually drifting up or down off to the side. i hate to get all science-y in this kind of chat, but i heard somewhere that it could be cells of some sort that get trapped in the fluid of the eye, during some point of development when you're a baby.  and so in good lighting, our retina can pick them up.  but that could be wrong for all i know.

Yes, it's matter floating around inside your eye...I have them, in fact most people do.  I have had them in my eyes since I was young and if I focus on them enough, they actually bother me.

Some other members were talking about them a few months ago at length.  Maybe someone who sees this will remember and can link you up to the post.

The following info is from:
http://interservicesnetwork.tripod.com/floaters/

One or more spots that appear to drift in front of the eye, caused by a shadow cast on the retina by vitreous debris or separation of the vitreous humour from the retina.

It is not uncommon to see semi-transparent irregular lines against a bright background like the sky or a page of print as we get older. It is rarely a sign of serious

eye problems. In the photograph you can see my drawing of the typical "floater"(Fig #1-1). It is a shadow cast on the retina. These may be multiple and join. Note the margins are irregular and the center mostly transparent.

When you were a child and looked inside an old box camera you will recall the space from the shutter and lens in the front and the film in the back was just air. In the eye, this space is filled with a jelly-like material (vitreous). It tends to get watery as we get older. With the back and forth movement of our eyes this liquified jelly sloshes around like water in a pail. The movement causes the fibers running through the vitreous to pull loose from the retina because they are loosely attached there. In the front of the eye, near the lens and shutter (iris), they are attached too firmly to come loose. When the fibers fall away from the retina they cast a shadow as I illustrated in Fig #1-2. If an object was in the air space of the camera you can see how it would cast a shadow on the film.

Yeah I remember that thred.  But I could not locate it.  However the information provided by that link PeacefulWarrior gave cover pretty much everything that was mentioned on that topic...it kinda would have been nice to have that one then.[;)]

I would not worry about it too much unless it seems like there is a lot.  Also it would be a good idea to mention it to your eye doctor the next time you go.  As stated above it tends to happen more when you get older but if you think its a probelm now then you should have it looked at.

Mr. PeacefulWarrior

That was a great sight but I dont see what the sight see's. Is this a sign too?  Little dot's of white light (. that size) or just something that looks 3-d. Not like on the picture that was BIG and dark. more little white lights and you can see them in the almost dark too.  They are almost clear and i see it mainly around trees, but that could be because of the light and color?  What do you think?
I had my eye's checked and I did not know about this would a doctor see it with out knowing what to look for?

Thank you
