Hello, the number 11?????

If you go back two or three pages, you will find an entry about 11:11.  I also get it a lot, but I don't really place much importance on it.  Not really sure of what it means really.

I know that there a tendency, to Astral Forum users, to think that everything is somehow related with a the Astral or the Pranormal,  but i think that i have a scientific explanation for what is happening: coincidence. The probability of someone in the world, to see the same number everytime that she looks to the clock it is bigger than we think (althought that will end). Statistic even say that it would be strange if such thing doesnt happened.

Second Explanation: Biological clock: we have an internal clock, like many other animals. Matbe your clock it is regulated in manner that everytime you look to the clock you will see the nnumber 11I would bet that it is regulated in 1h: it is 12:11 and you look at the clock, one hour later you will feel compeled to look at it again (13:11).

Third Ex: This one can be combinated with the second one: lets say that for coincidende, one day, you were just seeing elevens in the clock (at 15:11 f.ex, then at 16:11 and finally at 17:11). That it were just a mere coincidence but your brain as thinked in a bigger way: it is a divinal message. Your mind will be somehow "alerted", looking out (and waiting to see) for more "signals". In this manner, your internal clock will be adjusted in a way that you will be compeled to look to the clock everytime that there is an 11. Or, everytime you look to the clock casually your attention will be atracted only at the times that here is a 11 in the clock. In the other occasions that you look to the clock your mind will not be interested.

The same problem has occured with me and number 13. Then i realised the above points and that was the solution.


If it were any divinal message, then it shouldnt be resumed to a stupid and non-informational like that. Just a number in a clock it could mean thousands and thousands of things.

My advice: ignore that and the problem will disapear.

PS: It is for reasons like this that i would like to have crated a science forum.

Have you noticed that there is not any 11 in the time that you posted your message?! I bet that if it was that the case, your atention would be dropped to that...

it's a similar phenomenon to a "self-fulfilling prophecy": the more attention you pay to something, the more you notice it .

it would be like walking down the streets, seeing a crack in the sidewalk, thinking "wow, that's a big crack. i wonder how many cracks there are in this sidewalk", then paying more attention to the cement and going "wow, there's way more cracks here than i ever remember seeing before! that's amazing ^_^ ".

My thinking exactly, I was too lazy to give such a good and detailed explanation.

I am sure I also see other combinations over and over as well, the only difference being the symmetry of the numbers 11:11 make them more noticable.

I can get superstitious but I try to be careful about my thinking and look for external facts.

hello everyone, i know i hant been here for a while but i am finally gonna post again. a strange happening has been making me wonder. The number 11 has ben accuring alot lately whenever i glance at the clock.its like everytime it is something 11 i end up glancing at the clock at that very moment. does neone have any explantions for this?
others have told me it means psychic ability, high clarovoyance, intuition and spiritual healing. i have come here to hear what you all thought it meant. well if there is an explanation you do have, id very much appreciate it. thank you.
