herbal supplements for energy development

this is some knowledge I recieved in a couple of recent lucid dreams about herbal supplements helpful to metaphysical purposes such as astral projection,etc:

selenium-acts as a natural de-toxifier,frees locked up energy in the body.especially effective when used w/vit. E.

??foil-help me out here w/the name...this herb helps in the building of ki,and is apparently useful to help build ki-balls-?- (they were balls of white light composed of smaller white balls.they explode when thrown).this herb or mineral supplement is a white powder.

I know that "kingsfoil" is a tolkien term, but it could be a metaphor for something in the description of that plant, or, it could be some other kind of "____foil" plant.

this plant could also aid in developing remote viewing, or telescopic vision abilitys,possibly  having to do w/aiding in extreme concentration,and awareness manipulation.

anyone have some comments,or other stuff on this topic?
