Title: "holo-sync" demo cd-any similar products?
Post by: no_leaf_clover on May 27, 2003, 15:11:07
i dont know of any cheap cd's similar to hemi-sync, but there's a program you can get a free trial of called brainwave generater. i've only heard one hemi-sync sample, but this program sounds pretty close. you can't just burn it onto a cd or anything without losing serious quality (you would have to record it).

I bought kelly howell's brain sync cd's .  they're like 15 dollars each.  Someone had bought me the delta one for sleep once and it worked really well.  Id wake up feeling detached friom my body and really peaceful.  So I went out and bought the Beta and Theta Frequencies.  On the thetha she talks through the first part but you can move to teh second.

Ive had OBE's/lucid dreams using this cd for the last few days.  So im happy with them.  Plus they help me sleep whereas before I had to use over the counter sleeping pills.

jason,

There is a website with the following link:

http://www.awakenedminds.com/

They sell a single cd for about $35.00. It has nobody talking on it, all you hear is the sound of "gentle rainfall", and they claim that their product delivers better than holo or hemi sync. Take a look at their comparison page where they compare their product to the others.

Very best,

I've requested a hemi-sync catalog from the robert monroe institute,so it should be coming in the mail soon.looks like there's some great stuff there.tribal journeys and spirits journey in the metamusic section looks interesting, also maybe transcendence in the other section (?).anyone tried these?

I'll look into the awakenminds and kelly howells links, but I don't actually own a computer (I use a library),so I can't try the brainwave generator.

the awakenedminds cd has hemi-sync technology on it as well.On the site it talks about "binaural beats",etc.fascinating stuff[:)]

Most likely if you get the Monroe series or awakened minds you wouldnt need kelly howell.  the only reason I mentioned her was her cd's were right at the local barnes and noble stores and relatively cheap.  But I dont think they compare in quality to awakenmind (though i wouldnt know).  Of course the Monroe series are probably in a league of their own.

Who knows though.. I want to try the Monroe series when I get money saved up.  I wonder if you can order them from barnes and noble.  That way i dont have to use a credit card or whatever.

I don't have a credit card either! I just hope they accept money orders when ordering by mail.If they don't, I guess I'm screwed![:(]then I'll have to get the awakened minds cd,and it's about $60 canadian or more!![:O]

I'll check the website to find out about the money order thing...

hemi-sync cds can be ordered by printing out the order form and including a money order.[:)]you don't need a credit card, and the single hemi-sync cds are A LOT cheaper than awakened minds.

I've tried it twice now.the first time I tried it,my eyes fluttered for a couple minutes, then my body began to feel "wavy", and finally became very numb all over.It was a very relaxing, pleasurable experience, and it doesn't just disappear after the cd is over.I suppose it's possible to go deeper by yourself after the cd is done,as long as there aren't any major distractions.

I could do w/out the speech which takes up 15 of the 20 minutes though! are there any simple, single or double cds (or whatever) that uses the "binaural pulse technique" (hemi-sync/holo sync, etc) to help induce the mind awake/body asleep state?

there are things like the "gateway" experience, and the holo-sync program, but they're all "super-expensive-34-trillion-year programs".

I just need ONE CD.the demo is cool[8D],but I would like to find something that takes things furthur.

maybe the "awakened minds-insight" cd mentioned elswhere? or has anyone tried any of the single cd "hemi-sync" products?

help would be appreciated[:)]
