Do you want or plan on reincarnating here to the physical again?

I think as long as we have dreams we can't realize in this lifetime on earth, we will realize them in the next life on earth. A final incarnation usually has dreams that reach the stars and other planets. I think most people who visit this forum a lot have such dreams. But there is work to do on the inner planes. It is possible that the following paths can be treaded:

the path of earth service
the path of magnetic work
the path of training for planetary logos
the path to sirius
the ray path
the path the logos himself is on
the path of absolute sonship

I don't know if these paths can be treaded after physical dead by one who has "dreams that reach to the stars", but according to theosophical teachings, the fifth initiation has to be reached.

Since I have no idea if reincarnation really does happen or not, I can't say how old my soul might be. But...

If I were given a choice to reincarnate I probably wouldn't, simply because I rather not lose my memory! :D I would happily just fly free of a physical body once I leave! :)
This world's Captain Falcon; A title I will pass down to a chosen one when I leave this dimension.

I kind of like it here actually.  So there's a pretty good chance I will be having more of these human experiences here.  :)

At the same time, I feel as though the kind of person who would say, "Hell no, I'm never coming back to this hell-hole again" will probably have unresolved issues and emotional attachments that will not allow them to detach from this particular area of experience.  It's kind of like the saying that hate is not really the opposite of love, because there is still too much invested emotion in another person.  Complete indifference is the real opposite.
What is the sound of no leaves cloving?

To me... I gotta say it, reincarnating 1 more time across a billion reincarnations, what does it change? nothing lol...

Took me quite a long time to get this through my mind, when I was 18, I was really frustrated at the Universe about reincarnation and that I would've had to come back here... Eventually you tell yourself: What if I've reincarnated a billion times already and I don't remember and never will? Why should I care, just try to enjoy this life as much as you can, live in the present, and same thing in your next life.

If you ever stop reincarnating here and ascend into the immortal, eternal, never-ending celestial being which transcend time in order to do energy works and astral and physical good then that's GREAT.
I do hope for that for sure, but if it's not for that reincarnation, maybe the other one... or maybe the one in the next 1 billion cycles... Anyway if you always forget, you won't feel it. You might get that feeling like me that I've been here way too many times but then again like I said, eventually you just don't care anymore.

Guess there's always a little something we need to learn... Or maybe it's just that we have to stay here a precise number of times even if you have succeeded in learning all there is to learn... Like some Taoist stories said that you had to stay like a thousand lives after you had changed your yin into pure yang energy...

I really like that explanation tho I've read it a lot of times and still think it would make sense:

------
The Zhong Lü Chuan Dao Ji  lists five classes of immortals:

Guǐxiān (鬼仙—"Ghost Immortal"): A person who cultivates too much yin energy. These immortals are likened to Vampires because they drain the life essence of the living, much like the fox spirit. Ghost immortals do not leave the realm of ghosts.

Rénxiān (人仙—Human Immortal"): Humans have an equal balance of yin and yang energies, so they have the potential of becoming either a ghost or immortal. Although they continue to hunger and thirst and require clothing and shelter like a normal human, these immortals do not suffer from aging or sickness. Human immortals do not leave the realm of humans. There are many sub-classes of human immortals, as discussed above under Shījiě xiān.

Dìxiān (地仙—"Earth Immortal"): When the yin is transformed into the pure yang, a true immortal body will emerge that does not need food, drink, clothing or shelter and is not affected by hot or cold temperatures. Earth immortals do not leave the realm of earth. These immortals are forced to stay on earth until they shed their human form.

Shénxiān (神仙—"Spirit Immortal"): The immortal body of the earthbound class will eventually change into vapor through further practice. They have supernatural powers and can take on the shape of any object. These immortals must remain on earth acquiring merit by teaching mankind about the Tao. Spirit immortals do not leave the realm of spirits. Once enough merit is accumulated, they are called to heaven by a celestial decree.

Tiānxiān (天仙—"Celestial Immortal"): Spirit immortals who are summoned to heaven are given the minor office of water realm judge. Over time, they are promoted to oversee the earth realm and finally become administrators of the celestial realm. These immortals have the power to travel back and forth between the earthly and celestial realms.

YOU are 100% in the drivers seat regarding your own spiritual growth.
So what *CAN* one more lifetime change for yourself?  As much or as little as you want.

This is exactly what people should have in mind. You are always in control, you always decide if you want to do good or bad. And also the effort you want to put in it.
If reincarnation is based on your acts of goodness, either are they noted by a spiritual being of higher rank or by yourself spiritually, then it would only be natural to do as much as you can and exceed your expectations in order to achieve that ascension.
It's not easy to do, you know... Finding good things to do, being a Hero of some sort or whatever, but it's not about Heroism, unless you want it.
But it starts with small thoughts, then eventually your attitude toward people change and you become a better person.
Life doesn't always give you what you want in order to do all the good things you wish you did. But we do with what life gives us.
I think like I said... It depends on the greatest act of goodness you can pull off in your life.

I'm sure someone who would do an amazing thing to help people around him would advance in his spiritual reincarnation.
That goes until you ascend and probably beyond because you'll still have to help.
To me it's the only thing I can see in the end, because, we can be engineers, mathematicians, scientists, or any kind of job we want. We can learn everything about this world, music, etc.
But in the end, when we have learned everything that is let's say "unnecessary" about life, in this one or the past lives, then we are left to learn the most important thing which is Love, valors, and morals/ethics and all that will always stay the same. Universe Laws. "The Truth" that we all seek.
The spiritual path to enlightenment.
To me, I think we all learn the simple things first. We can have a life full of prosperity and knowledge but we're still sad or we are hateful/angry about life...
I think eventually we learn 1 big lesson from life or 1 of the many valors, until eventually we have learned all the valors in every life and we are faced with the life that is a gathering of all the valors together. An Ultimate test in order to see if you understood all of theses. That and a test to see if you can include Love into this small amount of time that you are given for your last reincarnation.

I can't think of anything else beside, taking a path that no one has gone before, not even yourself in your past lives.

Kzaal.

How could you possibly know all of the above, without being able to look at the whole picture outside of your current life?

When you are very ill, you can see into that of which others cannot.  It is a different reality.  You wouldn't ask how...if you could imagine that kind of life.  Born sick, walking down a path into more illnesses and diseases than a doctor has ever seen in one body.

Yet, I know I have experienced all of the goodness and beauty over so many lives...it becomes sort of okay to suffer every single day.  Watching people turn away, because they don't know how to be near you anymore, without experiencing pain themselves.

Everything crumbles eventually.
The final life is a long, slow death.
I know I deserve peace after...
