As a starting place for learning about OBEs, take a bit of time to have a look at these links:

Or pretty much any of the topics in the "Welcome to Permanent Astral Topics!" section. That forum's a gold mine of info!

There are many different techniques ranging from Robert Bruces OBE methods to Robert Munroes astral phasing, and lots in between. Have a look at the most common ones mentioned, try them and see how they feel.

The methods that work best for people can be as individual as the people themselves, so don't worry if something you try doesn't work or just doesn't feel right. Also don't be afraid to mix and match bits of methods if you want.

Once you do find an OBE method that gets some results, like anything in this world that you learn to do, practice and keep at it. It's not a gift that some are just given (though some people do seem naturally adept at it), it's a skill that anyone can become good at if they keep working at it.
