Who's heard of this? Apparently it's for changing your inner you, shamans use it and some of those Taoists interested in immortality with the whole golder elixir thing... and to astrally project there's some heart-fire that steams the water and you float out through the top chakra on it to meet spirits.

It's the dan tien once the primary yin and yang essense of the practiioner has completed it's cycle and returned as chi to the dan tien, thus the "golden couldron" also represents a state of transformation from initate to adept in the chinese taoist systems.

If your interested in internal alchemy you would be wise to look at the imagery associated with the western alchemical practices. You may find some interesting associations with fire and "steam".

Kind Regards in your Search

Yes, anything like Full Metal Alchemist by the way? I like the concept of alchemy, but it seems more prevalent in Taoist societies with inner gold. Fire and steam are neat, perhaps more associated with the bronze age though.

alchemy is interesting and when you learn to turn metal into gold give me a call!

No, if I do that it's all mine, but you can live in my gold house.

I like shaman things and wiccans now, I'm going to celebrate their holidays.

Living in a gold house is good but dont be surprised if a wall or two is missing and Im now where to be found lol

You know, the witch in Hansel and Gretal isn't a bad person. If someone comes and eats your food and vandalizes your property, if you're a batty old coot you're bound to want to burn them alive.

So do they try to make things right? No, instead they murder her.

I second that, Tyciol. I played the part of the witch in a short film group project for my German class in high school. Naturally, I didn't choose the part, and dressed as a warlock. But after playing it I had a new appreciation for the character. The witch actually shared her food willingly at first. In our film, we used wine glasses to make their first meal look very smooth and cordial.

After all our work, the teacher gave us a failing grade, because supposedly we were encouraging our class mates to drink alcohol.

Let me tell you, someone played the part of a witchy, batty old coot that day, and it wasn't me.

too bad most people turn out to be alcoholics anyway

Only the idiots, and that trend is changing. Staying away from watching (not playing) mass sports will help.
