Another stupid question from LIz, Names?

I dont want any random person I know to look up my name on google and find this. Most people wouldnt understand and would think I'm crazy. If my future boss sees it, I could be fired. I like to choose who I tell.

it's up to you if you want to use your real name or not... but i like to use made up names because i'm paranoid... there's a lot of psychos out in the world, and i wouldn't want anyone trying to look me up and hunt me down, or something like that.  especially in a chat, you don't know who you might tinkle off that is totally unstable.  so, basically, i like to remain anonymous because of general distrust of most of the human race.

I use Syke for everything.... its kinda like my other name, my alter ego i guess (not my 'ego' ego). Brendan is my given name and what everyone in real life calls me. but sykes just what i like to use.

I agree with beavis. Most of my friend would think that i´m crazy just because i believe in OBEs.

My nickname is completely invented by my stupid mind. At least it´s original []

I don´t like to use a nickname used by everyone like: Aragorn, LukeSkywalker, DarthVader, Nirvana, etc....you get the idea.

I use the name Shadowatcher because it represents something I have inside me, it is my dark side. Whenever Im in a bad mood, I transform into Shadowatcher, go online, and beat some foo's down at counterstrike!

It's just another way to express yourself on the forums.  In your profile there is a place for your real name if you so choose to give it (although mine is a fake  )

Squeek reflects my personality, and it's a cool nickname that I use all over the internet, so people know me as Squeek and say HEY! It's SQUEEK! Let's notice his existance! [|)]

Why does everyone use difrrent names.  Like John Doe use's KillPig?
My name is Liz my last name on this forum is short its not my full last name but i feel like who i am on this forum is who I am.  Are the names your tribal name or majick name?  My last givin name was Light Hawk but this is not that tribe and that is only a part of who i am.  I know never to give out your majick name, but I dont do that.

I never have used chat on the computer or forums although i do read others from time to time.  This is the only forum I seem to have found I like.  So with that, being out of the internet is using my name not proper?   I'm used to coffie house chat where you are looking at the person you are taling to.

Can someone explane to this internet chat virgin?
