Last night when I was about to sleep, normally I try to do some practice while I fall asleep, like meditate, feel my energy and stuff and while relaxing I always feel parts of my body twitch, I got used to that already, but last night as I was relaxed and focusing to my energy suddenly my leg twitched, but it jumped really hard, I was like "what the hell was that??" but I tried to continue anyway. Also as my mind is quite hard to clear I use some brainwaves to meditate and I heard something really different, I can't describe how it was, the first time I didn't pay much attention to it, the second I realized that what I heard was different that the brainwaves, I became aware of that and got the feeling of my whole body heating up and then again my leg jumped high.

It's the first time in my life that my body twitches that way, so I've got a couple of questions, has anyone have had an experience like that? I don't quite understand why it twitched so hard. The other question is about the feeling of the body heating up, just wondering if you've had an experience like that.

greetings to all!

The level of twitching is related to how strong your physical body is. I have been practicing body building and martial arts for several years and therefore don't twitch very often when I raise my energy. But others that don't have much experience in the gym might find themselves having uncontrollable movements when they raise their energy level high enough.

* As for the heat.. I have raised my energy level to a point where I begin to perspire. Literally my body begins sweating and often I will tremble with the unbelieveble amount of power that my body is generating.

I like to do yoga, but haven't been to my class in like a month, guess I better start again here at my house while I get back to the class, anyway, so I guess is a good thing to start raising my energy, right? does that have something to do with having quite low energy during the day? did I just waste it last night? I'm using my quartz right now to kind of raise it again, because it isn't nice at all the feeling I've just had all day, even if I thought to myself that I had no reason to be that low.

Energy raising is the most important aspect to successful astral projection but it's also the most difficult. You have to be willing to push your energy body / physical body to it's absolute limits and then push yourself one step beyond that.

Practicing body building helps to learn to push your physical body to the limit. Once that has been mastered you will then learn how to reach your maximum potential.

In all my years of doing this, I've never heard of such a connection.
Quite the contrary... my studies have shown twitching to be nothing but a blockage in a local energy chakra, not related to physical fitness.

Understanding how to train your physical body helps you to train your energy body. You can neglect your physical body and just train with energy but then how will you ever know how hard you can push yourself? When you train in the gym or in a dojo you can train your physical body to reach you're limits. Then that same feeling can be translated into your energy body training.

Oh I understand the mind/body connection, definitely.  Training one trains the other.

^^ This is what I'm referring to.
I'm just saying that there's no connection there.
At least I've never come across anyone else who agrees with you.

And in any case, you can't neglect your physical body if you hope to train mentally too.
It's called "Balance".

I agree with you 100%... the method of how I agree with you is where we disagree.

I've always related muscle twitches to the trance state. I would get really big muscle jerks when I started, but as I got used to entering trance, it and eye twitches and itches went away. For the most part. You learn to deal with them when they do happen.

Oh man, I used to get very bad eye twitches... the kind that you can't focus on anything BUT them.  LoL
But yeah, they've slowed down a lot in recent times.  Thankfully.

I was getting to a point of getting used to the twitches and learned to ignore them (not focusing on them) and then I would stop feeling them, but that experience was really hard to ignore, as I said, I tried to ignore the first one, even though I was impressed that it was possible to twitch that way, but the second one was way hard to ignore then, after the whole thing I changed position and fell asleep, I'm glad to know that this could be a "normal" thing going on so I guess I won't freak out next time, lol
