well orignally rap was sketchy because the people were mainly using rap to explain their frustrations however now it is basically all just booty shaken three word songs (and probably 2 of the 3 dont even exsist) who for some reason are in tire commercials now.

Yeah cookie, thanks man.. great stuff
Immortal Technique rocks. I have some videos of him freestyling that are great.
I often hear people say "I don't like rap, but this is good..."
There is a lot of good hip-hop out there with talented people and meaningful lyrics. It's just not on the radio, like most good music. Don't limit yourself to one genre - music is music.
Wow, wonderful stuff BadCookie. Thanks for posting!
Holly excrement cheak out this version out Bin Lindin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px6F8zAhQ1c&mode=related&search= (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px6F8zAhQ1c&mode=related&search=)
Thanks for that. Really makes you wonder where we are headed. I sense a revolution in our lifetimes. Will look into starting an interesting thread.
If you like these, you should check out Immortal Technique's 2 albums "Revolutionary Vol. 1 & 2". Very good underground hip-hop.

Im going to buy em wheres the best place to get them?
I like accesshiphop.com: http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?artist=Immortal+Technique
I see you can get them at Amazon too: http://www.amazon.com/Immortal-Technique/artist/B000APY6W8/102-3126273-7920132
Any independent record store should have them, but I doubt you could find them at a place like Best Buy.
One of my favorite ways to get music now is www.emusic.com. They have them both and it's only $10 a month for 40 legal downloads, so you could get them both fairly cheap. AND you get 50 free downloads just for signing up. No minimum either - you can unsubscribe after you're done downloading. It's pretty darn cool.
