I was just visiting Whitley Strieber's site and I saw this. Have any of you guys heard of this?

India is a strange country....
I think that this site probably isn't a reliable source of information - extraterrestial contacts will never be made public.

Andromache

It's from regular, mainstream newspaper in India.

I know the media can screw up but like this?

I think the "if I didn't see it myself, then it must not be true or correct" is arrogant.  If you heard it once from one person then maybe it's a rumor, but if you here it from many different reliable sources, then it may have some truth to it.

How arrogant to think that people from a country other than 3rd world are always right and the 3rd world countries are not credible.

A Little more info to back your claims and not just in India either.

I didn't said that countries other than 3rd world are always right, but India is not a normal country at all, if you would hear about cruelty and ignorace of it's goverment you would know.
And why do you think that I didn't seen UFO?

Yes, I know it is, you can recognize his from a number of news from "Bollywood". Seach in internet what Bollywood is, it's one of te most funniest things I've ever heard of....

Andromache

I know what Bollywood is. We have entertainment sections on US news websites as do the Brits.

here's another one:

Ok I agree sometimes the media hypes stories, but these UFO stories are coming from all area's of the world not just India.

Mass hallucination perhaps?   Well we will soon see.

Kind regards,

UFOs are probably not a halucination, I've seen one by myself, and few persons I know seen them too....

Again I agree with you, but who would believe us in the real world if we told them or even took photos. I think that more and more skeptics are going to have to see first hand themselves and I believe that day is very very near.

Why do you want to convince anyone that UFOs are real?

I've never seen one, I don't believe blurred photos etc. However I would be a fool to close my mind to the possibility just because some evidence is suspect. There is every chance that this has as much validity as anything else reported in the news elsewhere in the world.
I would like it to be real myself for sure. Kind of a boyhood dream to meet aliens and spaceships :-).

Aliens would probably treat people as bad as people treat animals. I am nearly 100% sure that they would be extremely ignorant and obsessed with control.

karnautrahl

How can that be?
QuoteAliens would probably treat people as bad as people treat animals. I am nearly 100% sure that they would be extremely ignorant and obsessed with control.

Now that's gotta be prejudice ain't it? They're not of Earth. We don't know how many arms, legs, brains or anything they have. That's the point. They are alien, we just don't have a basis for comparison really. So being sure of anything is unlikely.
I'm almost sure that anyone who's sure of what aliens are like -without meeting them- is likely to be mistaken.
Had to edit the quote LOL.

Nagual

Are aliens already here?   Maybe, maybe not...

But please, enough of these small aliens with huge eyes, flying around in ridiculous rotating flying saucer spaceships with shiny flashing lights and funny sounds...

That's just human limited/materialistic view of what aliens "must" be.
If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

Well, I was watching a program on the paranormal last night (a suprisingly good program, "unexplained mysteries" I think), and it gave the figure that 89% of abduction experiences are of the unpleasant nature. I could believe this from everything I've heard.

QuoteI've never seen one, I don't believe blurred photos etc.

I have seen what I think were UFO's, cant think what else they were, but the general idea in the publics imagination that all the evidence for UFO's amounts to a couple of blurry photo's is a complete and proveable falsity. There are numerous video's (military, NASA, police, etc), quality photos, etc that are available to anyone undecided. I've never paid for any such video's, though I dont doubt they've got masses of good evidence (seen snips from some), but even I have managed to build up some small collection of UFO footage on my comp. Like one police video over Brighton of a UFO on visual and IR cameras, which I found because it was first on the BBC website. I chased up the link and found the complete video. Cant argue with that sort of evidence! (btw thats not a challenge to try! lol....)

You are the Alpha and the Omega. You are vaster than the universe and more powerful than a flaring supernova. You are truly incredible!!

karnautrahl

Like to see those for myself :-). though media is easy to fake-sadly :(. Until I see one for myself, i'm firmly on the fence, though I believe there is life out there for sure.
I don't know about the abduction thing, some stories maybe true, more maybe attention perhaps or other reasons. Being taken unwilling adds it's own neg reaction before any other consideration. If that happens. I'm skeptical - until I encounter things myself to be honest. I don't believe or disbelieve, I need proof for either camp. :-)
