Hello,

I've got a question for you all.  Lately, in the last year or so, I've noticed that at times I get a "feeling" that indicates what will happen.  I don't really get to choose when I get it... it just seems random.  Sometimes it's about something that will happen a few seconds later.  Other times it's about things that happen a few months later.  It doesn't correspond to things that I want to happen or things that I don't want to happen.  It seems that it doesn't matter what I want.

Most of the time it comes as a feeling low down in my chest or stomach, it's a unique feeling.  Although, each one is unique unto itself.  Every once in a while I get a visual flash, but mostly it's just a feeling.

Have any of you guys experienced this?  If you have, have you learned to understand it better?  I'm still trying to figure it out.

Hi Froglet,

Very well said. I think all that is important here is that you are learning to listen to your own Intuition. It can be different for each of us, and how it operates for you may be different for how it does for me. Just know that you are doing well and your understanding will continue to grow as you listen to "spirit's first line of communication" with you
:-D

A book that I really enjoy on the subject is Rudolph Steiner's "Intuitive Thinking as a Spiritual Path: A Philosophy of Freedom":

http://www.amazon.com/Intuitive-Thinking-Spiritual-Path-Anthroposophy/dp/088010385X

QuoteBook Description
Of all of his works, Intuitive Thinking as a Spiritual Path is the one that Steiner himself believed would have the longest life and the greatest spiritual and cultural consequences. It was written as a phenomenological account of the "results of observing the human soul according to the methods of natural science.

This seminal work asserts that free spiritual activity - understood as the human ability to think and act independently of physical nature - is the suitable path for human beings today to gain true knowledge of themselves and of the universe. This is not merely a philosophical volume, but rather a warm, heart-oriented guide to the practice and experience of living thinking.

Readers will not find abstract philosophy here, but a step-by-step account of how a person may come to experience living, intuitive thinking - "the conscious experience of a purely spiritual content."

During the past hundred years since it was written, many have tried to discover this "new thinking" that could help us understand the various spiritual, ecological, social, political, and philosophical issues facing us. But only Rudolf Steiner laid out a path that leads from ordinary thinking to the level of pure spiritual activity - intuitive thinking - in which we become co-creators and co-redeemers of the world.

Thank you for the response :).  I will take a look at that book sometime Stookie.
I think you're right Tayesin.  If it's my intuition then it's hard to hear it, it's as loud as a mouse while my ego is like an elephant running around. lol

I suppose being quiet would help.
Have either of you two experienced this but in a different form?
