Yes it was shut down several days ago. There have been a number of members from there join here the past few days. If you go to new member introductions, you'll probably see some familiar names.

It looks like it's just a YaBB forum ... did he shut it down because there was a problem or was he just tired of taking care of it? The main site appears to be fine http://www.newagereseller.com and if someone is on good terms with him it should be relatively simple to port it over to another site.

From the web archive 2 years ago it looks pretty similar to here so if nothing else you guys made a good choice with astralpulse
