That's horrible.  Just another reason why I feel like I can't talk to anyone about this stuff.  I might be charged for murder!  So sad... I hope she's found innocent.

I think we should avoid the urge to believe her outright without knowing more details about the case.

However, the majority of people coming to this site will know what is possible in the dreamstate, so for us, we know it is not beyond the realms of possibility.

There is NO WAY she will be found innocent. She knows too many details, and for most people, the only way she could know this would be for her to have physically been there.

aye but fortunately in a court of law we only have to prove we are not guilty, and they don't really have any edivence to pin on her by the sound of things. Still, I do hope she has a good alleby....

It is certainly possible to have a prophetic dream. I've had one myself. I dreamt about a girl in high school who asked me out to the prom. The very next day it happened, EXACTLY the way it happened in my dream. Even the order of people walking by was correct, and so were the side conversations. What's sad about this woman's circumstances is that she told the dream to the wrong people. There is no way to prove that she had a dream and was not there or did not sabbotage the car. There is only one way to prove her innocence- analyze the car for details about sabbotage, fingerprints, and DNA- but even then, it's a longshot.

Yeah, I have a a dream about a future event before. about 3 weeks before the space shuttle crash I dreamed that a space shuttle crashed and i distinctly remember the horrible feeling. Only about 5 days after the accident did I remember and checked in my dream diary. It really had me spooked.

"An Italian woman who told a road crash victim's family she had dreamt about the accident, has been charged by police who say she knows too many details.

The 40-year-old housewife turned up on Alfredo Baldeschi's doorstep and gave him a vivid description of the accident which killed his sister Loredana Baldeschi.

He told police about the encounter and they advised him to ask her to go through the "dream" again and secretly record her.

After listening to the tape, police arrested the woman and, after questioning her, charged her because she knew details of the crash known only to investigators at Latina, south of Rome.

A police spokesman said: "The woman knew details known only to traffic officers or by the person who caused

the fatal crash."

She is due in court later this month charged with manslaughter where she will have to explain her dream to prosecutors.

Loredana Baldeschi, 40, was found dead in her overturned Vauxhall Astra. Police were mystified by the accident."

I suppose she could have been the cause of the accident - we don't have enough details from this report. But suppose she is telling the truth? No court of law would ever believe her
