I'm just wondering ... I have two astral stars and 1 karma next to my name and don't know what they mean.
thanks
Venus
Hi Venus,
They're almost certainly an indication of your activity on the forum - I'll bet they show 'time as a member' and 'number of posts', something like that.
Vitruvian
Thanks Vitruvian! I hope you're right cause I don't want anyone judging my Karma and evolutionary levels!
Cheers
Venus
I wondered the same thing you did. I am a member on the "Our ultimate reality Form" and I didn't understand the stars either. There is no karma points on that form so I don't know what that is but I have 5 stars there and only one here. The people with the most post have the most stars.
No one knows your karma besides your Inner-self.

Except, I did see a member on this forum with a '-1' karma . . . that can't be good . . .
Vitruvian
-1 doesn't sound good. I think that generally such words should not be used to indicate number of post or how long you've been a member for as they have completely different meaning in a sensitive/personal context. As you said no one knows my karma except for myself.
:-)
Some forums have a 'minimum posting' requirement; by not posting enough you might earn the (-). I'm assuming it's all in good fun and not to be taken personally!
Namaste,
Vitruvian
SORRY GOT TO STOP YOU THERE!!!
the more posts you have the higher astral energy you have
and when you are scroll down a thread you will see (applaud) and (smite) under karma and on a member clicking (applaud) will give one plus karma and click (smite) you will give one minus karma
Thegreensaber has it right.
The more you post the higher your astral level.
If you post something that helps someone then they may hit applaud and give you some good karma. It you tick someone off, you may be smited! The karma level goes down.
It's all in good fun. But if you get worked up enough to smite someone, then watch out for the real karma! :-D

Basically a population "contest", and quite funny at that. Somehow I actually believe that some posters get a bit of satisfaction from being liked, and shown public respect, lets seee what could we compare to.....oh yea i know
Take care. Do not let the scribes fool you by the way they do things. They like to walk about with long gowns. They want people to greet them in the market.
They want to sit in the front seats in the meeting houses. They want to sit in the best places at feasts.
And then there is the one about smiting and being publicly humiliated and punished.....lets see, no YOU have a go at that one
Hehehe
Just a witty remark, but believe me you cannot always count on the most publicly favored people giving the best advice, nor the least favored to give the worst advice.
The truth can be inconvenient, as we all know
We used to not have it, but then the forum changed and it was implemented. I didn't like it from day one and voted against it. It seems counter-productive to what we do here, but I'm part of the minority I guess. So I'll give everyone in this thread a Karma point, and all of you smite me, and we'll start to balance it out! Fight the system!
(Some of you I Karma'ed a day or so ago and you have to wait 100 hours to do it again)
Love your attitude Stokie.....consider yourself smitten lol
ok, I got it. It's all in good fun. :-D
Quoteand all of you smite me
I can't do it . . . I just can't smite a Buddha-lookin' dude wearing glasses . . .
There goes my good karmaVitruvian
For now on, EVERYONE gets a karma point from me at every opportunity. Even outside of this thread. Feel free to smite me too...
I think the karma is a good idea if anything but I don't like the astral energy because you could just post nonsense and get a good rating. & I can't see the point in it as just below you can see the number of posts the member has made anyway
