Off on a tangent this got me thinking about karma - specifically that even if you are facing a situation that seems impossible to survive, if it ain't in your karma it ain't gonna happen. Most of us have such a diverse range of karmic seeds waiting to sprout, that when we find ourselves in a situation where we are likely to die, the karmic conditions also exist for us to die. But for some rare people, who have eliminated most of their karma, when they find themselves in such a situation the karmic conditions for their death to occur don't exist, so apparently miraculous things can occur to prevent their death.
The first one is easy to believe (the sword is cutting in two the bullet).
The last one it is harder...how can someone avoid bullets?! It seems to incredible to be real...
