oh man... I don't want to start out sounding negative, but if it weren't for the fact that I've reached a transitional time in my life, I'd go. I have to establish a job and earn some money. Once that happens, I want to buy some land and do something similar. Perhaps I will go to the Midwest to find land for this, when the time comes. It'll be a few years though... I've got to earn the $$ first.

Hopefully when my life is secure enough and allows for me to do stuff like this, maybe Moontingle will have another workshop. Until then, all I can do is offer you techniques. One I like to use is doing projection in the morning, just after waking up from your dreams. The important thing is to remember how you felt in the dream and what it felt like to be there. Then try to remember how it felt to return to your body. Once you do this, you should be able to focus on the energy flowing through your body. What does it feel like? Try to figure out where it wants to go next, and then try to get out of your body again. Use visualization to see the places in your dreams, and try to get back there. Once you are there, you must remember that you are not in your body. Then you can open a portal to another place, and you can hopefully drift up to the higher planes. They are beautiful.

I'll tell you what... You set up the dates, and I'll try to meet you guys in the astral. I'll post my feedback and my observations here on Astral Pulse, if you want to set up a topic.

Ender, thanks for that. You see, your advice demonstrates a way in which we could do some "self-teaching". And if we got more people actually together, we'd make a lot of progress. I'm thinking this way because, like some people have stated, AstralPulse is in a new phase. A lot of the old, accomplished AP'ers and poster's have moved on, so we need more people actually teaching the newbies. If you think one mind is powerful, try 20 focused on the same thing. It might help a lot of us out (literally!) And we could do so much more by networking.
And this $$$ thing. Don't we have people on this site who realize money is just energy? Which we are all learning to raise. I have made money appear when I needed to go somewhere. It's like "how bad do you want it?" Think abundance, ABUNDANCE. If you let more money out, you create space for more to come in. Don't think of it as leaving you, you're making room for more. We are conscious creators. The great sages have said "Let's have a gathering" and the workers say "but we have no money" and the guru says, "never mind, it will come. Just start planning it."  And sure enough, some "concidence" occurs and there is money. We must have "rich" thinking and know we are worth receiving $$$'s to do good things. I think going to an AP workshop is good use of dollars.
Have you heard of a potlatch? In western Canada they still do this. A family will give away everything. And next season, in a ceremony, they get back twice as much. It's faith.
I will give much to have people come here and bless my land. I wish I could charter a jet to pick you up! I must admit I haven't been too focused on money, or jets, lately, so I can't do it at this time.(heh, heh)
But, if we all put our thoughts together, just maybe...

BTW, how do we meet on the astral plane if some of us can't get there yet?

Wait a minute, will you help me out? And we'll see if it works? What time zone are you in? How is next Sunday night at 9pm Mountain Standard time. If you, and anyone else who wants to help, will send energy out, maybe you'll get me out of this body! I know I've got a ways to go. Maybe we should start doing some orchestrated exercises like this to help people. An AP dream team, kind of thing. I think it will really help.
Maybe this has been suggested before, but let's have a go again.
One last thing: I practice at least an hour each day, with NEW, binaural sounds, meditation, sitting outside in nature, etc. I'd just like to see if I can feel your energy. Bright blessings,

Yes, atalanta, you must come to Canada when it's right for you. It's a great place, lots of wide open space and freedom. We are relatively close to the incredible Rocky Mountains. When you come, bring a didgeridoo, and I'll play my wooden flute. We'll create trance music. Okay, I know Canada is far away and that means $$$$ for plane fare, then how about somewhere in the northern States? Let's do it people. Let's put our resources together and see what we can create!   Mustardseed, you were talking about getting a gathering together, right? But I still offer my remote place for an amazing, nature-imbued experience. Moose and bear crossing the property, grouse doing their mating dance, eagles and cranes flying above the house ... incredible.

You know what you've got to try? Using Winamp, select the visualization feature, and make sure you have downloaded Milkdrop. Set it to desktop mode, and watch it create psychedelic patterns to your music. It does new stuff every time I turn it on, I'm not kidding. I've watched this thing for hours and it still creates new pattern styles. This thing's even more creative than ME! Anyway, while watching it, I get lots and lots of visions. Most of them are of a Native American nature, specifically tribes in Southwestern U.S. I'm not sure why I am drawn to such visions, but I want to go down there someday to find out why.

In any case, if I ever do make it up there, I'll bring my singing bowls, along with my giant quartz crystal, kyanite, fluorite, halite, my own techno, and possibly my keyboard so I can continue to write music and sample sounds to create a new genre or two.

I am interested to learn more about what is known as techno-shamanism. I've been trying to find more information on it but it's not always available. I've searched this site for topics, but none have turned up. Techno-shamanism, as far as I understand, involves using technology to create art and music that cannot be found/created elsewhere, which has a unique effect on the psyche. I cannot think of a better way to use technology (except for medical purposes, of course).

Moontingle, I practice qi gong. From what others have said, when I sent my energy to them, they have felt it, in the exact spot I sent it. I can pinpoint locations on the body. Your posts are enough for me to get a sample of your energy, and mine should be enough for you. Focus more on the emotions of the post, and their relation to their subjects. I shouldn't be too hard to find.

Last night I decided to try and focus on my girlfriend, as she slept over. I figured if I could try to sense where her astral body was, I could find her in a dream. I tried using her physical body to get a trace of her energy trail. Sure enough, it worked. She was in my dreams pretty much the entire night. When she woke up she asked me if I had dreamt of her, and of course I said yes.

By the way, I live in the U.S. Eastern time zone. Also, you can get winamp easily. Just type it into a search engine. It is made by Nullsoft (not sure if that's two "L"s or one, but if you type in Winamp, Nullsoft will be in the paragraph somewhere).

This site actually grew out of the mushroom experience, but I think it is musically and spiritually related to what you are talking about, if not in a disciplined sense.

I am also very interested in music.  I have had some fun making tracks on my computer with Cakewalk's Plasma, a loop based music editing/mixing program.  I don't know very much about music, but am learning to play the flute, want to purchase a keyboard, and I want to learn so much more!

For something slower and more introspective, here is a link to some music I think you might appreciate.  According to the insert in his CDs, he uses heterodyning to create polytones that approximate the brainwave patterns of deep meditation - sound familiar?   Besides that, his music is absolutely beautiful!

Hi Kiauma, I've seen Elftrance as well as a number of other sites. The coolest art I've come across is the work of C.J. Barnaby. It's not like any other type of art I've seen. As far as techno-shamanism goes, I think Winamp is a good resource.

Risu, a thousand pardons. I should be flayed with a wet noodle. Just checked your pic and how could I have fogotten a babe like you. It's just, I'm fairly new to this sight and don't know the entire gang, so I faked it and, without a doubt, was going to leave out someone, which was not the intention. I also forgot our resident telekinesis expert, beavis ... sorry. With apologies, I include everyone else in the etc. etc. part. You know who you are!!!
So, back to the idea of getting together. I'm getting help from ender to get out of my body, so soon I'll get to astral island and maybe I won't be wanting a physical chance to meet everyone so intensely.
Still, we are an extraordinary group of "fringe dwellers" and so we should be able to do some extraordinary undertakings with our talents. Anybody read James Redfield's "Shambala" where a community has discovered the potential of prayer-fields? If I ever need help, I'm falling back on my astralpulse friends 'cause you guys know how the world and beyond really works. I just think community is so important and we must transcend the miles, somehow.
You know, other associations have delegates' funding, scholarships and grants to have gatherings like this: they have money to pay for people to attend meetings. Why can't we do that?

Hey Mustardseed I am working with Moontingle from afar. Was wondering if you or anyone else would be interested also, if we succeed. Did you ever try the Winamp thing? I keep getting these visions of an Aztec/Native American nature. I think I was a Native American in a past life, some tribe in the Southwestern part of the U.S. I want to go there and see if I did belong to a tribe. I don't know why, but I have an extremely positive feeling about the future. I've thought about moving to Canada before. I still am considering it.

I did do a web search on CJ.  He is a very good graphic artist, but what I was referring to, which I thought you meant by 'techno-shaminism' was music.  The graphics are all very nifty, but it is the music that I was talking about.

Actually, I do listen to a lot of techno and electronica. I've even written some. I write it based on the visions I get and the emotion that is communicated. I want to get into some very unusual sounds.

Anyway, did you read about Robert's latest workshop announced for the United States? In Montana, yet. I can actually drive there in about twelve hours. And it's at the Feathered Pipe Ranch which is amazing , but pricey . Oh, well, why not study with a master when you get the chance, eh?

I'm hoping to do a sweatlodge ceremony at Feathered Pipe with a friend of mine, so we can offer that to everyone. Facilitators were interested in having one in Wales at Bruce's Nov. workshop, but it was too late to organize it.

I might be able to work something out, but I would have to see. Where I work shuts down for a week in July and everyone has to take their vacation then. I might be able to work something out though. Have you heard anything about the price?

Just heard from India, they will have the pricing tomorrow. She says they're already getting lots of response, so we should register early. Sounds like it's already getting off to a roaring start.

Well I might be able to make it happen, depending on how pricing goes. I checked and the Feathered Pipe Ranch is rather far from me. Yahoo maps says it is just a little over 2,000 miles. I will have to see if things come together. If not maybe I can come visit you in Canada. 160 acres, I am so envious.

Just received the price - between $1399 and 1499 U.S. That's steep but it includes great food and lodging, etc. etc. And it is a beautiful place. It's about twelve hours from where I live, too.

Hi Moon, I just wanted to give you a little background on what has been happening over the last year.
We bought a house west of Calgary, by Bragg Creek last December. While we were living there we began to receive communications from people that we know that are passed on to the spirit world. We have a rather large document now and more than thirty people have been to the house to see the writings and converse with the spirits. We also came to learn this year that the rather large vortex there at the house also allows us to travel quite easily from there as, there are many portals there in the house. There are 16 archways in the center of the house and each is a portal. We can and  have traveled forward, back and into the present. We also can travel to Atlantis from there. Awright, other people have mentioned this, but let's put some action behind our words. I, Moontingle, offer my 160 acres in pristine, awesome-energy, peaceful northern Canada for a spring AP workshop. All of you, who post often and are sincere about your progress, please come, Fly, drive, whatever, just use your powers of conscious creation to get here. I have tipis to stay in; a wooden, all-season tipi for the workshop, a wonderful willow sweatlodge, drums, trees, flowers, sunshine, clean air, solitude to offer for this meeting of the minds (and spirits).
