Title: Looking for antimatter
Post by: alpha on August 04, 2002, 07:35:08
So where am I suppose to look?

How about going into a black hole?Ive not had the chance to go into space yet though.Once I did but it was more of a uncontrolable dream.

What do you think would happen,Would I get sucked into it?If one day I happen to dissapear. You guys will know what went on.

One of the things I have heard was that it is possible to go through black holes to come out on the other side where there is primarily antimatter. The two matters are related, but it would be necessary to consult astronomy charts to pick a black hole to test. I would do it myself, but all my efforts must go into learning to project right now.

Hi,
Im going to take out some books on space. From the one I just read recently. They said a few black hole locations. But not enough detail. They are probably not going to be easy to find.I will know the general direction.A few are right near stars in constellations.

Its going to be like a hit or miss.Im not even sure what antimatter will look like? Will I be able to tell it apart from regular matter?Ill let you know if I ever come across anything.Especially if I do come across a black hole.I dont mind doing this.I was already thinking about going to a black hole. Before I read your post.
Good luck with your obes'Meditation really is the key.Exit techniques have not really worked for me.If you are in a deep  trance. You can just get up and go.

I do not know how easy it will be to find a blackhole when out of body, but on the physical they are actually pretty hard to find. Unless something has changed since I got my info, blackholes suck everything into them even light. So you cannot actually see a blackhole. You can only tell where it is by irregularities, like bent light or not being able to see stars where you know they should be. Let us know if you happen to find one and some anitmatter.

What would you look for when seeking out antimatter? As far as I know we have only been able to create atoms of antimatter. Can it be constructed like regular matter, say into planets etc. If so could you tell the difference besides put matter and antimatter together and watching the explosion?

There have been atoms of hydrogen made of antiparticles artificially. They did not last very long. The difference between matter and antimatter is not clear to me exactly, unless you can find it and bring some actual matter with you?

hey,Ive been reading Monroes 1st book.He said something about our astral bodys being like antimatter. After close examination of his second body.He said that everything was reversed.Like being the guy in the mirror.

So could antimatter be just a half step away in the real time zone? What Rb says about the real time. That we are not really in our world. We are in a mirror world. Not sure if thats exactly what I read. But its close I think.

I dont know just a thought. If I could bring some back now that would be something.I can imagine the look on my girlfriends face. What the hell is that?

Antimatter is matter that differs from regular matter in that some of its quantum numbers are opposite.
The antiparticle for an electron is a positron that has a positive charge instead of the usual negative. It's possible that some forms of antimatter differ in other quantum numbers, such as spin, but this hasn't been proven to my knowledge.
Antimatter exist right here in the physical. Should you run into it in the astral I don't see a prob unless the astral boody is made of some set of particles on the physical.
You might want to look for it at your nearest event horizon or possibly camp in the  local particle collider's detector array.

Both particles and antiparticles are of the physical entirely. Otherwise, how would physicists observe and measure them? Positrons are exactly like electrons in most ways. One thing, though, which might be relevent. I read that electrons go forward in time and positrons might be from the future, going backward in time? That the only difference between matter and antimatter is the direction in time which it moves? But then, since past, present, and future are united in the astral it would be posible to better observe this.

Black holes are sometimes paired up with other stars and they can draw in matter from the other star. This produces large quantities of radiation as the material is pulled in. It should not be difficult in the near-physical to watch the material being pulled in and to follow.

Tom:
e vs. anti-e: They are both real and physical particles that can be observed.
Neg. time:Tha'ts one way of producing the antimatter properties using some of the current theories (possible all of them?). Switch the direction of time and you get antimatter. Don't ask for details I'm way too rusty for it right now

The anti-neutron and anti-neutrino interest me more than the positron or the anti-proton. A positively charged electron makes sense and a negatively charged proton makes sense. What do we get by reversing something with no charge? I know that electrons have two types of spin and that they spin either way depending on how they fit in the orbitals. It is not just the spin which is reversed in antiparticles. I guess that if I really cared I would read textbooks. It does not matter, because it does not help explain the experience of either matter or antimatter. Astral projection is the only safe way I know of for a being of matter to experience antimatter.

Well you get an antineutrino by reversing its spin quantum number from +1/2 to -1/2. But I agree, one reason I got a job and at least for the time being dropped physics is that it started to feel to removed from everything. I couldn't see a reason for continuing.
But once I get this OBEing hacked I'll head for the nearest singularity and see what's on the other side.

I saw this on the discovery channel a long time ago, i watch tlc and discovery alot, it said that antimatter comes from any explosion or crash. Such as a car accident would create some antimatter, and i think it said that white holes were pre black holes, but this was years ago so i might be wrong, worm holes were the warp things like u said the black holes were. I think theres 2 types of black holes, the regular ones that just bring  in light and are massive and have a massive gravity force, and the ones that are worm holes that transport things to places. It also said that the static on your tv and radios are from the big bang, but im not too sure if i can belive that since it hapened over 11 billion years ago.

Every man has their fear of dieing, whether it be of pain or not knowing where you are going, however, mine is the family, memories, and good times i leave behind.

Wormholes & Black Holes are both massive distortions in the space-time skein, so they could be put in the same category. Though a wormhole is a  theoretically traversible conduit,  a black hole basically tears a f#&@ing great hole in space time and sucks in all matter to send it god knows where after mashing it a lot. There are theories about the existance of white holes which could possibly be the other end.

As to finding a black hole, look to the dead centre of our galaxy. Before it was decomissioned recently  the Chandra orbital X-ray observatory took detailed high density images of the centre of our galaxy. Early this year the processing of the images was completed (which took about 2 years to do).  They found an absolutely massive black hole right at the centre.

Are antimatter and dark matter (a.k.a MACHOS) the same thing? I know that dark matter is invisible, but nothing else. It would be interesting to see what's on the other side of a black hole.

I have been thinking about the possibilities of more physical scientific things we could discover and this sounds very interesting.

Since posting has anyone tried visiting a black hole or anything else in space that's far off like getting close to a sun or something?

Visiting a black hole sounds dangerous because if it's a rip in time and space it could extend into the astral as its all energy.

Well let me know im really interested and want to explore space and beyond but can't project properly yet! [:(]

Cheers!

There is a supermassive black hole in the dead centre of this galaxy aswell as many others - it is theorised there is likely to be one at the centre of just about ALL galaxys and that they are possibly the starting blocks for the construction of Galaxys.

IN OTHER WORDS - GO TO THE CENTRE OF THE MILKY WAY!

So how's the search for antimatter going?

I keep thinking of the things we could discover about our physical reality, I was wondering about what you see if you kept travelling out into space as fast as you can go, just what is out there past the furthest galaxy!?

Is anyone else really interested in finding out this sort of thing or are you more into the spiritual side of projection?

Lol so many questions so few answers. [:P]

What I read was that if you could go fast enough to survive the journey (it is a big universe) you will eventually arrive at the place where you begin the trip. By then the planet you were standing on might be somewhere else, but does that really matter for anyone who can explore the entire universe?

Yes, I really want to see what is out there, like on Star Trek. Not that I actually expect to.

Ah yes i remember seeing that somewhere on TV, well i don't know but now I think about it its probably not as interesting to shoot out into the darkness.

We need to make a list of the best places to try and visit, I think if anyone's daring enough entering a black hole might be cool but there's other places too like here http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/

All "matter" whether it is "anti" or not exists in the physical universe - in the three dimensional Universe. The Astral and Mental bodies exist in the Astral and Mental dimensions respectively (the Astral plane is sometimes considered to be the 4th dimension), and not in the same dimension as matter. It is therefore more or less impossible for the Astral or Mental bodies to be affected by anti-matter, radiation, black holes, or any other thing manifest in the physical Universe.

With best regards,

Adrian.

That is what makes the astral and higher bodies such effective tools for exploring them. It is too dangerous in the physical. The lack of interaction also makes actually recognizing things like antimatter more difficult.

So who is willing to journey out into the unknown?  Who is able?  Adrian, why not test your outgoingness and take a ride to the center of our galaxy and tell us what you find.  I find this all so incredibly interesting, anti-matter, positrons, I've never heard of this kinda stuff in my 9th grade science class!  I know now, this is what I want to do!  I wanna be a scientist, either a neuroscientist or an astrophysicist.  Well, I've always known that I wanna become some sort of scientist or philospher, I have so many choices and potential paths to take--especially since I'm 16.  I'm majoring in psychology right now and am always chatting with my professor about OBEs and such, but It seems she is always asking me the questions, lol.  She tells me one day: "hey Adam, I found out that having an OBE is all in your head, it mental experience."  I was like in my head.. "duhh...."

But anyway, I am very eager to hear of any black hole experiences!

On the contrary, the astral body is not simply on another dimension so doesnt get affected by physical things - the astral body is on a different vibrational level which you could class as a higher dimensional state - if a piece of technology was developed capable of changing the vibrational level of every atom in your physical body you should (theoretically) have the capability to pass through solid matter such as a wall - your astral energy body when your physical body is at rest vibrates at a higher frequency which allows it to pass through solid matter - because we know little about the scientific nature of more than 99% of the universe if you were to come into contact with a black hole theres no way of knowing what effect it has on the space around it - the gravitational effect of a black hole could cause atoms, energy or gravitons (gravitons are theoretical) to vibrate at a different frequency allowing them to intereact at some level with your astral body, you could be kissing bye bye to your etherical double (at least you should hope its merely a double.)
