Greetings good people,

I have been really really enjoying my lucid dreaming lately! and have found that as Im on the verge of falling asleep and start to see and watch the random images appear and drift away and then begin to see the first signs of dream scape appearing, I simply set the intention of flying. What ever surroundings I am seeing I begin to focus on the sensation of flying into that scene.
I think because I am making a conscious decision as I move into the subconscious I easily maintain that sense of lucidity as I move deeper and beyond. Its really very simple.

While I am here I would like to share here with you that I have noticed more and more lately I am able to consciously recognise why a scene or person/character is appearing in the dream scape and what patterns of thought or behaviour of mine has manifested that person or place in my dream experience. It has definatly enabled me to look back on my life with more clarity and understanding of how we create/manifest/perpetuate certain things and how our actions and beliefs create our experience: NOT because I read it in a book, but by direct experience and realisation.

have fun and sweet dreams people  :-)

Keep those success stories coming Majour Ka. I love reading them. They are always inspiring and show other people here that "yes this is really happening"!
Thank you for sharing!  :-)

Thanks guys and girls  :-)
Stookie, I hope I didn't sound conceited, I actually haven't read much about lucid dreaming, so really for me it is all from experience . To be honest I didnt until recently ever realise just how beneficial and insightful it can be in the scheme of personal development....I always presumed it was purely interesting and recreational. Its really opened my mind to knew ideas self understanding  :-o 8-)

No, I'm right on the boat with you. Direct experience is where it's all at, not theorizing and philosophizing. I completely relate. :D

Cool  :-D I think it was Xanth that pointed out something in a post recently that there comes a time when the ideas we have thought about heard of, or read actually hit us in the face with clarity and reality and we see it and know it so clearly for ourselves, we almost cant put it into words. We can then consider that the philosophy of enlightened masters and other pioneers that have gone before is something we look forward to grasping at a real level. It excites me and spurns me on...like a kid at spiritual christmas  :-D

I agree 100% with you here Majour Ka. My only confusion is why Ascended Masters and Gurus have told people throughout time that it takes years and years to achieve this. I find it depends on the willingness of the individual. Some people take "baby steps" and others aim for the "full Monty" with a take no prisoner approach. But you have to find it in yourself. The books and articles are great to help you begin your journey. But it all comes down to you to gauge how deep you wish to delve. Then suddenly all those words have a new meaning of their own and you are finally starting to understand something that there is really no reference for.

I've heard "thousands of lifetimes". I think the main intention is to spur on the proper devotion & attitude towards development: "I will not give up no matter how many lifetimes it takes". Not that it will necessarily take that long (who knows?), but time doesn't matter when you're working towards an ideal.

I used to read a lot of philosophy, metaphysical material, religious stuff, etc. Those learning stages are exciting, but you HAVE to turn it into experience or it's all worthless knowledge. Experience is where it's at.
