Do you think it's possible to teleport physically?

P.S. Think about this: When we move around physically, which of our bodies leads and which follows (i.e. does the astral body follow the physical body or is the physical body really following the astral body)? Really think about it. What are the metaphysics of actual movement? If one is following the other, would it then be possible for the bodies to switch roles and have the one that normally follows lead the other? If this is possible, how fast could one travel, and could both bodies handle it?

Physical location is not so meaningful on the astral and the silver cord binds it to the physical body. If you can find a way to dissolve the physical into the astral material the way a solid can dissolve into a liquid you can precipitate it in another location.

Math and physics combine well enough to describe this sort of thing, but you will have to create the job for yourself and anyone who can help you to accomplish it. This line of research would generate enormous power for the physical world, too, and it could create enormous profits. There will always be people who want to stay in the physical world.

YOU, ME, THE AIR WE BREATHE THE AIR IN THE SPACE BETWEEN US, EVERYTHING!!!! IT IS THE EXACT SAME.... THUS THEY (QUANTUM SCIENTISTS) ARE THEORIZING THAT THINGS LIKE TELEPATHY, TELEKINETICS, AND EVEN TELEPORTATIION IS POSSIBLE. Scientists have managed to teleport light!!!

So that proves that it is possible
But for them to make a machine that could decode our entire body and then package it up into light and then encode it back into ourselves again. Would need a huge computer and some major technological breakthroughs

But in terms of metaphysical doing it with your minds
I believe it possible, but i have no proof or theory to back it up
all i know is it would be cool to be Nightcrawler (from Xmen2)

I've got to read Robert Bruce's book about astral physics! Maybe I can start there and try to make the connections between the physical and the astral. I think the answer to the problem lies in the astral. Even if I figured out how to do it, I'd probably need a heck of a lot of training before I ever teleported. I imagine it would take an enormous amount of focus- a level so high it may not be humanly possible.

Dont mistake the transporter on star trek with what scientists are talking about themselves or the 'teleporting' of light that was accomplished - the photons were not transported but were copied exactly as the originals in another location, the idea of the transporter that scientists speak of is to dismantle a persons body atom by atom and record every atom on a supercomputer, then the supercomputer would relay that information to another supercomputer on the otherside of the planet (for example) and there a machine would use different matter to rebuild a duplicate body atom by atom - this new body wouldnt be you it would be made from different 'resources' so to speak which has caused the great debate that someone stepping into a trnsporter would be killed and their soul would be lost and this new body would be identical but not you (a clone).

An interesting subject indeed, and I would say that physical teleportation is possible - in fact, there are recorded instances of it happening. It seems to be one step further than bilocation.

The entire Universe from the "All" to the physical world of undifferentiated matter are governed by the same laws, and are fundamentally vibrational and density degrees of the Akasha.  In the Astral and Mental world it is possible to be anywhere instantly, which is the same as teleportation in many respects. Not the sci-fi "beam me up Scottie" type teleportation which involves the deconstitution and reconstitution of matter, but rather instant travel between two places.

The physical world is governed by the exactly the same laws, and therefore instant travel between two places is theoretically possible. I would think that it would require sufficient energy and will, and control over the elements - the sort of control normally associated with a Master or Adept who can materialise on any plane they desire at any time.

Is it possible to take psychic training lessons the way it is possible to take kung fu lessons from a skilled instructor? I think it would be great if someone could learn how to do these things through a teacher- especially since experimentation with this sort of thing by someone who is rather inexperienced (such as myself) could be extremely dangerous in certain circumstances. I know that to experiment with qi is also dangerous- one can make themselves quite ill, or even die if they are not careful enough and/or lack knowledge of what they are doing. It would really suck if someone teleported into a cement wall or something.

I imagine it is possible if one were to join a cult involved in this sort of thing. But what about others? I think one of the requirements should be discipline and also psychic aura-reading ability. That way, it would be harder for people who would misuse such power to get the instruction. On the other hand, there's a lot of information available all over.

Carlos Castaneda has written about many experiences of teleportation (true or not is debatable).sometimes to another area in the physical,sometimes to an "in-between" dimentions kind of area,w/deserts and stuff,and one time to a realm of "inorganic beings".really strange stuff,but some people can't take it 'cause it's too wierd,so they just decide "aah,it's all bs".

even if it was fictional,I'm sure that math and physics could delve into this subject quite effectively.not sure if anyone has, though.

I've got an idea for a debate- Do you think it's possible to teleport your physical body through some process of metaphysics? I was feeling rather depressed today and I was toying with the idea of teleporting my body into the astral world, but I realized that it is physical and therefore cannot leave this physical dimension. However, I also realized that it may be possible to teleport the body WITHIN the physical dimension through some sort of wormhole, maybe by combining astral projection/remote-viewing with some other technique. Qi gong masters in China can do all sorts of untold strange things, so I figured, if what they do is possible, is the idea of teleportation so far-fetched? It would obviously take many, many years of training to be able to do something even remotely close to that, but nevertheless, it may be possible. What do you think?
