In the book "Parting Visions" by Melvin Morse, it mentions the meduna mixture,(mix of gases containing carbon dioxide & oxygen) which was created by Dr. Joseph Atkinson and developed by L.J. Meduna.
Patients breathed the gas for a few seconds each, and sensed they were dying--tunnel, seeing bright light similar to NDE. "Psychosomatic complaints virtually disappeared with carbon-dioxide therapy, and the patients underwent personality transformations remarkably similar to those in people who have had near-death experiences."
"Based on my assessment, I believe that the Meduna mixture induced a near-death state that activated the right temporal lobe."(pg. 86)
So, is this available anywhere to be purchased, or can the ingredients be bought to make the mixture?
Co2 and oxygen are very easily made. If you don't know how to do this then I'd strongly recommend you don't try.
O2 has it's properties and the medical grade has other attributes to it's patient distribution. Ignore this precision and you could easily lose your sight or far worse. Co2 is toxic and it doesn't take much to kill you. Once you start to suffer asphyxiation it's too late. It's extremely painful and should never even be thought of as safe. I know it's in soda but we don't inhale soda do we.
Unless you are medically supervised by a qualified practitioner the experiment shouldn't be attempted.
Looking after our members is important to the staff at the Pulse.
Good find though.
