I've thinking a lot about the following: 2012/The End Times/Revelations/The Great Purification/The UN & Illuminati Agenda of Global Depopulation/and a selection of other prophecies & agendas along the same lines.  Ask me back when I was rebellious, truth-seeking teenager...and I would have "argued", "Less People...More Animals.  Less Cities...More Forests".  Somehow I lost focus on that passionate simplicity, when I crossed the thresh-hold into adult-dumb, and took the position of doing everything I could just to get by.  I adopted the idea that everyone was doing the best the could.

I'm approaching it from as many angles as possible, but once again I'm finding little issue with "Less People", save it isn't an agenda-driven culling by the 1% (elite), and doesn't involve some rampant flesh-eating virus.  I know that Ted Turner offered up over a million dollars to anyone that came up with a solution for "humanly" disposing of 2/3rds of the population.  What is that, like .002 cents/person???
I believe most in the idea that there are a set number of people that have chosen to stick around and "do the work", and the rest that have chosen to move on/ascend.  I'm having a difficult time in processing any type of "rescue".  I know in my recent posts I have talked much about the supposed 2012 pole/galaxy shift, and a dawn of enlightenment...but I'm trying to grasp the mentality of the Rapture, and especially the beliefs of fundamentalist Christians (for example) who SIT in waiting...in the extreme believing that anything that might save the planet & it's inhabitants...is a blatant defiance against God's Will.

So with all that said I am interested in this...

1)  What is your work/job/profession, and do you honestly believe that it makes a contribution?  Are you a warm-bodied laborer/a middle-man/do you work in the service of others...that are to busy to do for themselves?  Do you sell/push information? Is anyone out there a cobbler/baker...a candle-stick maker??? Does anyone have a job/business where they aren't disposable (couldn't be taken over by another) (or out-sourced)???
And...do you believe what you do is your calling?!?

2)  Global Depopulation (Natural or Implied): Fore or against?

3)  Religious or other beliefs:  Are you waiting to be rescued from all this, or do you believe that a lot of work is needed to set things straight???

1)  Artist & Jill of All Trades: Self-Employed
Despite feeling "special" in my range of skills/abilities.  I pretty much
provide a useless service.  Art is vital, and I can't picture a world
w/out it, but as for it guaranteeing my purpose...I can't say it comes
anywhere close.  I am pulling away from the profession of providing
this luxury.  I can't compete with imported arts or crafts.  I do small
scale, original work that I'm happy to keep if no one wants to buy, and
have taken more to using my hands & mind to increase my self-
sufficient skills: plumbing, electrical, construction, automechanical,
    welding, gardening, irrigation, carpentry, etc.
I can afford to do this, only because I own very little, and have no
debt.  I could easily work in some artist industry, and reap the
"benefits", but that would be straying further away from what I feel
my calling is...Creative Visionary & Healer
(No money in my specific calling).

2)  Depopulation: I don't believe that the world is overpopulated, just
large pockets that are extremely lazy, dependent, and numb to their
effects.  Something deep inside me just wants to pick a nice little piece
of land, grow my own food, chop wood, carry water, and do without,
and it bothers me to no end that I can't just go and do that without
buying completely into the system.  If there were two-billion people in
the world instead...it might prove easier.  Do I care if I'm one of the
remaining?  Not so much, except that I would like to be around to see
the planet revert to a much more natural state.  I'd love to see people
living freely with respect and independence.

3)  I'm definitely not waiting to be rescued!

hello,
Not sure if I got everything right...but I'll have take a shot:

1. Just like you, I work in the arty buisness and am self-employed (thankfully it's a bit more "meaningfull" than painting or drawing...ermm..sorry if I offended anyone). But unlike you I am fully aware that my work if globally useless...or at least its less usefull than being a doctor or a teacher..
I had very hard times when thinking about my work, and wanted to quit...but darn..God gave me a gift of being very good at what I do, so..hmm..maybe I'll just use this work to get me money to do some serious spiritual development and helping others.
So, for the past few months the deal is: job=money=my development + helping my friend's foundation and an animal shelter.

2. depopulation. I believe 2012 will get rid of the problem by its self. Higher vibrations and all the other nice events will work just fine in getting rid of the problem.

3. Same, I'll handle this myself.

is there a prize for answering these questions???...a lollipop??...anything?

it's strange u were the first to post becuz i just returned from reading one of your other posts.  the signature @ the bottom caught my attention.
I am the great unconditional Lover of Storm.  I've been thinking the same thing about 2012, but then I had to ask myself if it wouldn't in effect add to the same mass mentality of "waiting around for a miracle/rescue/etc?"
Which I why I decided to query the folk with this little poll.  See where everyone is coming from?!?

I'm not convinced myself that doctors and teachers are any more useful in the entire scheme of things, but they definitely have a better argument for themselves.

Sorry...no lollies.  I guess this works more like a POTLUCK, bringing your wonderful creation (yourself) to sample, and sampling the flavor of others.

But for a sister that appreciates the finer things in life...I'll send a massive storm your way (just for you).

2. I think that global depopulation is ABSOLUTELY necessary, but not in that insane way conspiracy theorists think about it. Overpopulation is not a problem, the true problem is degradation of human DNA. The best way is to solve it is to ban people with serious genetic problems from having children at all, ban typical people(and people with slight genetics problems) from having more than two children(this way their genes will be slowly eliminated), and of course let people with excellent genetic condition(with above than average intelligence and good physical condition) have as much children as they want. Of course paying people with good genetic condition to have children is a bad solution.
3.I don't have anything to be rescued from. I enjoy this life.

CaCoDeMon, you describe eugenics to a T. Nazi in a prior life? :-) No offense meant but you did justify eugenics just there. I am dead set against manmade eugenics and elitist ideals. They are crap, we are not horses etc to be thoroughbred. Actually animals we selectively breed don't completely work out the way we always want. Nature is more vigorous with a wide range of characteristics. Monoculture is near deadly over the very long term-as far as the human race and the eco system is concerned. Be thankful for all the extremes of human genetic expression, it will be that that could possibly save mankind from complete extinction in thousands of years to come.
Nature will do her own work. We just gotta stop undoing it sometimes-clean up our tech and our habits.

1.When I bother, independent IT consultant-gotta live somehow.

2.There are too many people maybe-difficult to be sure, 6 billion sounds too many BUT that might be oversimplifying. I believe nature will balance it out, I don't think mankind is capable of imposing a fair and humane way of doing it himself.

3.Rescued from what exactly?  Sometimes a problem is a problem because of the way we look at it. I don't need rescuing, though I could do with help with using the ability to heal in a more effective way-but I ain't holding my breath on that one. I love the idea of alien/spirit rescuers and all that jazz-however-I don't believe it, and I would never consider waiting on something I in my heart believe is yet another fantasy.

I believe in having to work to achieve a goal really, not sitting back and waiting for it to "manifest" etc etc.  when I work on patients with healing, I burn real calories because I really mean what I am doing. It can be tiring even when only pulling energy through, and I alway end up hot and dripping if it's a serious working. I don't believe in putting my hands on and hoping. and in my life I don't believe in waiting and praying for something to happen. It doesn't.
May your [insert choice of deity/higher power etc here] guide you and not deceive you!

Natrural selection has became "negative selection" recently. My point of view is not exactly nazi-like. I think that "kinderbachenkamps" were a bad idea, and I think that most of selection should be natural, but the biggest amount of children is born to alcoholic parents and this is certainly a problem. Also there's no real natural selection now. Children who would die in the nature can live now because medicine is advanced. Leaving people to die just because they are weak is completely inhumane, but I don't think that ban on having more than two children for them is inhumane at all.

CaCoDeMoN: Thanks first for your input.  What you described IS "Eugenics", although the label here isn't important...you will find it ruffles feathers, and rightly so!  You're talking about some crazy s**t!!!
I will assume you are a vegetarian/vegan...and as such a "humanitarian" (although your choice could purely be for health reasons)...the stereotypical's point you in the direction of thinking yourself higher up on the evolutionary food-chain.  I myself am nowhere near convinced of this, which leads back to your theory (in way).  I'm sure with a little more thought you would have to agree...that GETTING MORE INVOLVED will only degrade the situation further.  I glanced at your profile, because my immediate thought was "you had to be a guy"...but noticing that you live on a farm...makes all the more sense to me.

I have to agree with Karnautrahl that hybrids have more severe, PHYSICAL hereditary problems in general, not to mention PSYCHOLOGICAL DISORDERS.  There isn't a species on the planet that humans are not involved in destroying, saving or "MAINTAINING"!  We must learn to leave well-enough alone, or risk the BIG LESSON.  You say you are happy with this life/this world, but then you suggest drastic changes.  You might be very pleased to know that the ELITE are IN THE PROCESS of doing exactly what you recommend.  I unfortunately don't have the links to back it up, but google anything on "Withholding UN funding in return for MANDATORY STERILIZATION" and you should be satisfied with the results. PLUS a wealth of information on major funding in the EUGENICS realm!!!

You may have opened a can of worms here, but I know a lot of people who consider themselves SUPERIOR, and I would much rather spend the rest of my life on an island populated with down-syndrome dwarfs, then be subjected to the arrogance of those that "believe" themselves fitter for this place than others.

We have NO IDEA what "superior" ENTAILS!

What men garnish from nature is the age old adage of survival of the fittest, but take a longer look and nowhere will you find a herd, pride, flock, or gaggle entirely made up of ALPHAS!  It takes all kinds.  The end result of your thinking would be a competition based race that would destroy everything (including themselves) that didn't suit them (which is pretty much where we're at anyway), without the DNA to back it up.

I'm not attacking you.  I know what your saying.  CONTROL is needed, but there is much bigger picture you're overlooking, and I have to say it bothers me, especially if you consider yourself a HEALER (and wish to become a better one)...why are there alcoholics?  why are there drug attacks? why are there so many people lost in pain???  Who are the PUSHERS??? Who supplies the escapes? Does the SYSTEM AT LARGE work to enlighten/release, or DEADEN & HOOK??? And why???
You will find that the richest people are those that can afford themselves all the healthcare in the world...and THAT is my problem with it...the line gets blurred because what is happening is not the FITTEST coming out on top, but the RICHEST!

I'm sure this discussion will continue...so I'll save some things for later.

If it wasn't for the Conspiracy Theorists...we wouldn't know half of what is really going on.  What makes your opinion more SANE???

If you do indeed live on a working farm, then the entire mentality that you are surrounded by supports "complete control".  That's where the practice of Eugenics and Hybridization stem from ORIGINALLY.  When we "chose" to settle in and MAKE THINGS WORK FOR US.  Implemented at first to provide MORE meat, more wool, more milk, larger eggs, and vegetables that could survive drought, pests, diseases, etc...yet very few farms exist anymore to support their own, or their communities (at least here in the U.S.) (but that's another issue)...I am a strong supporter of natural, bio-dynamic farming on a small scale, and I would love nothing more than to have a farm of my own, BUT...personally I feel we messed up when we walked out of the woods and began to settle and control.
Oh bless the nomadic gene that I have all but forgotten to feed!!!

Not really. Did you notice that I was not talking about things like "mandatory sterilization" or "elite" at all. I was only talking about banning people who have SERIOUS health problems(caused by their genes) from having children. Of course this is not a "complete control" at all.
If such thing will not be done, much more scary thing will happen. Have you heard how cow's genes degraded in Poland? Because people helped cow in giving birth, it could give birth to a larger calf than normally and it's genes would not be eliminated. This lead to calfs so big they could not be born in the nature and even they sometimes have to be pulled out from cow with farm tractor. In my friend's village one calf was accidentally torn in two using this method. This is disgusting. How easier it would be just to select only those cows for breeding that can give birth naturally.

Souljah333

I wrote an incredibly LONG reply and trashed it just now, because what difference does it make?  I don't see any tractors in nature helping elephant and moose give birth.  I highly doubt that these "large calves" are a natural occurrence, and haven't been manipulated in some way. Still it is a terrible thing I'm sure, and another reason why we should leave well enough alone.

I will mention that in some cultures it has proved necessary in the past to have many children, for few survive to adulthood, and those that do are needed to care for their elders...and there are other places that breed out of ambition, and others still that breed out of ignorance and total disregard for themselves and the children the bring into this world.  I have no children/I am celibate and have been for eight years, so it could be easy for me to agree with you, but I can't.  I can't because I know of man's involvement in it ALL, and I know what man is prone to, and I see great fault in his finery and his ideals.  I know what seedy lengths people will go to to secure themselves riches, and I know in man's eyes we are all disposable.  So...what more is there to say???

Bless the Divine Feminine in all of us and pray that the answer comes either in a gentle, soft and loving manner...or with a swift and sudden hand.  Either way I feel we have overworked it all, and we are too far in the thick of things to see our way out safely, but nowhere do I stand-down to an elite government and allow them to decide my fate or future!!!
