missing copy of Astral Dynamics

The local public library (Iowa City, Iowa) had put a copy of Astral Dynamics in its collection. It was due a year ago to the day today. The library sent out a bill for it, but it does not seem likely that it will be paid for or replaced. It was probably a college student who was content to take the best book from the library's collection and not return.
