Yeah, we wouldn't be so lucky as to have something actually exiting happen. With me anyway, it's just the same day over and over. I can feel my soul getting tired of my body and ready to kick it to the curb.

This post is not written to be sarcastic, not at all....I am truly stumped....I always tell the truth maybe that's why I am so surprised when I realize people .......lie!

Well, I am on my way to buddhahood. It's been that way for a long time.
I'm starting to feel the unity as a whole within me and realizing we are all a one. I had a revelation watching "March of the Penguins"

Amazing movie.

It made me realize one thing. The penguins are not selfish. No matter how much time, pain, whatever, it's all for the common good of the whole.

Humanity is not progressing in that same manner, but the opposite. The things we are seeing on the planet are the direct result of us going in the opposite direction. There are small natural disasters happening to try to wake us up. But since we still have the mentality "well, better them than me", we are still on the downward spiral towards doom.

Let it be clear. Mother Earth is going to wake us up. A few more things will happen, perhaps bigger than the tsunami, bigger than Katrina. I believe it wont be until things are reset to zero that we will wake up and realize global consciousness on a human scale. By reset to zero, I'm talking about a global disaster. It is then that humans will realize what is really important and work together towards the whole. THAT'S WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE . Not trying to one up the other.

As for buddhahood, I probably realistically wont reach it as the requirements are not something I can incorporate into my life. I must let go of all the things I hold so close to me to reaffirm my identity. When you let go of all you love, you shed the layers of the ego and realize a greater part of you and transcend the need for aspects of humanity that we deem so necessary, but are nothing but an illusion created by our ego.

I listened to the dolly lama (sp?) recently. That cat has his s**t down. He's on a freeking perma-hi 24/7 without drugs. He is IT. One thing he said in particular that was funny I thought was this. Barbara Walters asked him "what do you do after you've become enlightened?"

He replied "Once Buddhahood is attained, there is nothing else to do"

But for the rest of us? Are you willing to let go of your wife? Your life? Your cable tv? Your internet? All the things that seem so important to you?
If not, Buddhahood is not in the cards for you for the most part. However there are certain aspects of Buddhahood that we can incorporate into our daily lives that work wonders for the soul. I went from a people hater to someone that feels everyones pain. Perhaps this is good, perhaps bad. However when I can comfort someone in need, there is a feeling that comes from elsewhere, not the body. That to me is an aspect of buddhahood. It's a feeling that no Earthly ITEM can provide. It comes from within.

I'm glad I've realized this at 35, rather than 60, although I don't do age really. It's just a meaningless number created by man, like time. I don't limit what I can or can't do because of time or a number. THAT is societal BS programming and I want no part of it. Now I go my days non-judgmental. I feel people in a different manner. When I'm around a group of people, I can feel the energy. I can feel the love. I can feel the fact that we form a union. Together, not separate. Separateness is also the illusion created by the senses. The senses lie and I no longer completely trust my 5 senses.

There is another aspect of ourselves that we can feel if we slow down enough to listen to it. We all know it's there. But you must stop the endless feedback loop of think, feel, think, feel and instead just be. This is a monumental task for me. Godspeed to you all on this journey of awakening. We will all awaken. Whether we want to or not.

Well I don't watch TV really or movies. My soul is tired of doing the same thing over and over. I just thought the content of the movie was fantastic. Meaning there is a lot I did not know about penguins. As for the filming and whatnot, I can't say.
