That whole thing about making CDs that can't be listened to on a computer or on some CD players was not a good decision, either. It was really funny to hear that it is possible to damage the data track on the outside of the disk with a permanent marker so that the CD becomes recognizeable as a music CD.

It would be really nice if the music industry would make music available for sale in 192 kbit MP3 on either CD or on memory cartridges for MP3 players. Same thing for audio books.
