Need answers to some questions please...

Hi everyone... I have been studying Astral Projection and Lucid Deaming for years.. Since I was probably 12 or 13 years old.. I am 30 now. I am new to the forum and wanted to describe some experiences and hope to get some answers.

I have never consciously projected that I know of.. The closest I got the first time when I was a kid was feeling the vibrations and hearing the buzzing,, then I got excited and snapped out of it.  After that I can't remember why but i think I gave up on it maybe because i had been trying for months with no luck and could not get back to that stage again. 

I had a strange experience a while after that (still a kid) so I guess I will start there.  I remember waking up one night and knowing that there was a woman standing over my bed.  I felt strongly that I was awake and I don't know that I saw a woman.. Maybe I saw a figure that reminded me of one I don't remember.  Anyway, as soon as I realized this... The woman jabbed both of her hands into my ribs as if she was tickling me... It was weird cause I thought of it as a tickle but it did not tickle.. It was a violent type of jab and I remember I felt the fingers jabbing hard into me and heard a female voice saying something like "tickle tickle tickle" or something along those lines.  Instead of m king me laugh.. I felt like my energy was being drained... I don't know hoe else to describe it other than just being actively drained.  I struggled and think that I said stop or quit.. At which time everything ceased and she was gone.  I felt disoriented after and I got up, went to my parents room, woke my mom up, and asked had she just came and tickled me.  Of course she was sound asleep and didn't know what I was talking about.  Everyone including me chalked it up to a dream... But I normally don't remember dreams for the res of my life which makes me wonder what this could have been.  My parents house is not haunted and we never experienced anything like that before or after. 

My theory became that either I had projected during sleep and something attacked me, or I had attracted something to me by trying to project before.  Is the latter possible because that is a worry I still have today. 

I got interested again in astral projection a few years back and bought some more books.. One by Robert Bruce which described frightening things that can happen during a projection such as clammy hands grabbing you etc.  That freaked me out alot so I didn't pursue it.... Now for some reason.. I have gotten Etremely interested in AP again within the last month or so and have been scouring the web looking at people's experiences etc.

I have alot of questions and I guess I will post them later as this one experience hopefully will get alot of response.  So until then, I will only say that I am very interested in AP but also sort of afraid because I do not want to attract any entities to our apartment that will begin haunting my wife and I. 

I had a recent experience with something I thought was a dream but I am not sure.. I will save that for later also.

Good advice.. I'll be honest.. I feel like at this point I may can easily project or at least get to the vibrations but currently I seem to have alot of fear that I didn't have when I was a kid.  That makes me feel like I should hold off until I get alot of good advice and answers from you good folks. I guess I am hoping for the truth but also hoping it will put some of my worries to rest.

Have you heard about energy vampires? I recommend you check out the books of Michelle Bellanger. They are quite informative on many subjects, including this. A quick web-search will also give you some answers.

Also...Remaining ignorent, or blind, to theese phenomenons will not help you...in other words...no, there is no reason to fear exploring theese experiences...you might encounter unpleasent things, but check out how to protect yourself and you should be fine...and there is so much fantastic out there...I seriously recommend you following your instincts and do this...open your eyes...

Based on what I have found out about this.. I wonder if this happened while I was just sleeping in my physical body or if this was actually some type of projection where I was attacked.  What do you think?  Also, you mentioned that alot of people are doing this... are these mainly ppl who project or could this have been just an actual psi vamp entity?


You mentioned that these type of attacked can hurt you and I had always heard from all of my research in books that you cannot get hurt in the astral realm by entities, only scared.  However, with this new information and some other info that I saw that mentioned that you could even be killed in astral form and that you would cease to exist, I am confused by which one is true.  Do you know if a vampire or other being latched onto me in astral form or otherwise attacked someone, could that person cease to exist?  If they drained ALL of your energy, what would happen?  I personally dont beleive that your astral body can cease to exist because as you know, energy cannot cease to exist... it can only change forms.  But I beleive it was Einstein who said that and I dont know how much modern day physics have to do with Astral Projection.  Thanks for the help.

...big questions here ...and important questions, absolutely.

I do not really know much about the different terms used for the different ways of percieving the non-physical parts of our reality, or the different tecniques to get there. The things that happened to me sort of just happened. I've never felt the need to define the technical details, if you understand?

I know sleep is one of those different states of conciousness, than can make it easier to access and percieve the non-physical world and yourself. Sometimes dreams are just dreams, sometimes they are communication and interaction with others. You notice the difference, as you did.

Can you get hurt non-physically? Yes.

Is astral projection some special technique that somehow protects you from harm? I seriously doubt it. But, what will protect you from harm, is (to a certain degree, and amongst other things) the belief that you are protected, the belief that no-one can harm you. So that might be one reason why people teach you to believe that.

From my experience energy vampires are not into the astral projection technique, in general. But most of them knows how to travel in the astral realms, to use that term, or in other words interract with others non-physically.

Can you get killed non-physically? Well...I would like to say no...but I have seen things that seriously makes me wonder. So you are basically asiking the same questions as I do here.

I would advice you to learn how to protect yourself with love, shielding techniques and how to fight. And then feel safe. If you understand? Don't be scared, but be prepared, just in case. And do it quickly, ey? I think it's time you get your butt out in the astral

For a bit of encouragement... you, and many others, have projected more often than you think.  Most people call them "Dreams" and "Lucid Dreams".  In my little world, they're as valid projections as anything else.  They're projections of varying levels of conscious awareness.
In most cases, you'll have to "try" for more than a few months.

I can imagine how that would be a scary experience for a young kid.  I do have to encourage you to keep trying though and try not to think about this particular experience.  Don't let the fear from it guide your hand the rest of the way. 
You're going to experience a lot of "beings" if you continue along this path... it's best you make peace with that knowledge now.

You probably woke up in Sleep Paralysis, or at the very least you woke up JUST on the edge of sleep... watching the non-physical bleed into your physical life.  I've had that happen my entire life.  Waking up to seeing strange things going on... strange people standing in your room... I don't believe any of them were objective/fundamental (ie: real beings) though.  Could they have been?  Sure... no reason why not.

As I said, try to put that fear aside, because it will be a major barrier to your success.

Killed non-physically?  No... what are you killing?  What is dying?  Your consciousness?  How do you kill consciousness? 
What is death?  What we physical meat popsicle call "death" is simply a change in perspective from one reality to another.  You could call it "death" when we switch from the non-physical and are born here in these meat popsicles.

Personally, I wouldn't venture out with even an OUNCE of violence on my thoughts.  But meh... that's me.
I'll never tell people that fighting is an option in the non-physical.  Quite the contrary actually.

Thanks for the kind words and information! I beleive I have projected within a dream before recently... I am going to post another topic before the weekend describing that experience so that people can give me their opinion on it. I also am going to post in that topic, a link to this website about astral projection because it is the one site I have found that seems to have some strange answers to FAQ.  Things like that you can die in the astral, the cord can get severed, you can have trouble getting back in your body, that if your astral body is injured... your physical body can obtain the injuries as well.  This is some crazy stuff and it is nothing like all of my research over the years. 

I tend not to beleive this because I have heard no other experts back this up but since I have only recently began researching this again.... back when I started there wasn't an internet really to search for all of this so I went by books.  Now anybody can post anything so I just want to sort through the rubbish you know?
