Quotelets face it some people dont even belive in god how sad is that
Why? I don't believe in a god, do I need to? To be not sad that is.

How many children pick up on these ideas from Harry Potter do you think? I know the youngsters I've worked with would point to spells and magic for sure, but also I think they'd notice the roles of courage, honor and honesty, also of  how bullying and lying/cheating tend to bring the culprits down in the end.  For me the most valuable "lessons" perhaps are these values.

Magic is a nice bonus.

I'm delighted with idea of passing the torch to the "Harry Potter" generation.

Barbie and Ken informed the identity of a generation with Monopoly helping the slide right along.  Before that, Louisa May Alcott, Beatrice Potter, Kipling  . . .

I'm glad to see Harry and his pals as the architypes for this next generation, altho I'm scrathing my head over the effect of Lemony Snicket
