Hey guys, as i said in my last post my head is bogged down with distractions from everyday life that i cant think of anything constructive to post and relevant to astral projection.......so how about something irrelvant   


Firstly, How is everyone?

Secondly, despite my girlfriends objections i went for a walk with my ex on the beach as me and her or good friends and considering whats been happeneing in mine and my girlfriends relationship she has a cheek to object. anyways as i was saying as me and my ex walked on the beach we got talking and she likes to visit abandoned asylums as she studys psychology the same as me and is pretty intriqued by the paranormal / unexplained side of things.

Upon our walk i decided to come out the bag about projection and try and explain this to her. She is very educated and of course she is a damn shrink in training so i had a hard job explaining this to her and in the end quit before i failed.

I briefly asked her if she new anything about the subject or NDE's . but she never

i started to relate it to lucid dreams and explain but i heard myself saying it and realised that to the average person i would seem crazy and so to a shrink i must seem like i need severe help haha.

So i gave up and decided that i would try it from a diffrent angle and bring god into the equation but of course she never believed in god.

so i had no ground to explain astral projection and seem sane . so i just gave up till another time.

Has anyone else experienced this? problems explianing projection without seeming insane?


p.s dont hesitiate to post about random stuff in this thread and get to know each other

Believing or Disbelieving in a Deity has nothing to do with how the Mind Works or APING or any Afterlife! XD

If she doesn't believe in God, Then Maybe the concept of APing can still be acceptable to her, assuming she isnt a hardcore materialist, even some skeptics arent entirely commited to materialism.

imagine just saying to someone who has no idea about this...... " Well, Ap is where you come out your body. where your soul or energycomes out of your body and you have consious control of this , oh and you know how some people have special hobbies they dedicate there time to like martial arts or photography well this is mine . my hobbie when away from work and study is pulling my soul/energy right out my body" and then continuing to say
" its amazing when am out of my body i can fly and walk through walls and to be honest what you wille xperience whe you die is a bit like what i experience when i project"

not only will she think that i think of myself as some sort of god by experiencing death whilst been alive , and that she will think am crazy the biggest thing is if she says to me "teach me how to do it then i ll belive you"

i wont be able to teach her so i ll look more the fool.
I thought maybe i would relate it to near death experiences but still i could nt get it across.

fortunatly i have not given up. i ll teach her energy work and see if i can get her to experience something diffrent and then i have something to work from lol

I don't see why you can't work the "lucid dreaming" angle... it's the science-friendly approach.

"Lucid dreaming? What's that!?"

"It's when I become fully aware in my dreams and I can do anything I want! Cool, huh?"

Why go deeper than that? If she's interested in learning more you can get into the spiritual and metaphysical aspect of it. Don't start off with "focus 3" this and "psychic neg shield" that... if you can help it.

Do you think energy work is a good idea to teach her. I had a friend once who was skeptical about this and asked me to prove it. so i taught them how to mediate and then i put my hands on there head and imagined i was transferring energy to them . i had nt a clue if it would work but it did cause they both freaked out at weird sensations they were feeling.

Also with her been my ex it wont look good if i bring her back to mien and tell her to lie on my bed as i teach her this lmao so i thought maybe one night or day i would just take a blanket to the beach and teach her there lmao

Some random stuff, my dad and mother have seen ghosts, my mother was bitten by a snake and almost died.  she had an NDE floating out of body. My dad is an atheist despite the fact that he saw a ghost. It's very rare we talk about this stuff. I  have never told them about this astral stuff.

I would not try to teach someone something they are not interested in. I know a lot
of  people think you are just having a dream & you're exagerrating or you are delusional
or hallucinating on drugs. Some people don't even remember a single dream and
could care less. It all depends how willing you are to appear crazy or weird.
