You're already out of your body when you get vibrations

As some of you know I've been playing around with OBEs for sometime. Even though I've been having them quite often over the past 20 years I never noticed or realized this until recently while trying to "hack" this processes. I've been popping in and out of my body within seconds going back and forth cycling my mind. This is where I noticed it... you're already out of your body when you're at the vibrational level.

The feeling of being in your body at that time is something that is recreated by your mind, an illusion that you unconsciously created. Now this leads to all sorts of questions. For example, did we evolve this advanced simulator ability to allow ourselves to fall asleep? I believe just before you fall asleep your mind moves your "consciousness field" into a simulator which holds your consciousness and has the ability to recreate experience.

It's an impressive simulation. That's why doing things like visualization or meditation help OBEs so much... you're working your mind's muscles to imagine and recreate the environment. I would bet that everyone here that has seen in an OBE can hold a picture of a red shiny apple that's rotating in their imagination, and actually see the glare of light at the top change as it rotates, and so on. I bet every experienced projector here can do this better than 99% of the worlds population and recreate it as real as real life. Those who never are able to see or hold projections I bet can't do this.

Because it's a simulation. A way of hacking the unconscious mind and exploring the within. I know most of you won't like this, won't agree, and will otherwise I hate me for it. We monkeys have always had the habit of assigning divine attributes to that which we do not understand or fear. Believing that OBEs are the afterlife is a trap. Just like the mountain of other beliefs that we "enlightened obers" have discovered to be half truths. I'm not saying that they couldn't be, but I'm saying that we don't know for sure like we thought we did. It's the best possibility that I've seen for one though. This entire journey has changed my consciousnesses in such profound ways. I can't explain it.

(edited some rambling out)

If you think I'm off just say so. But this is the truth: I did discover that the feeling of being in your body (at least just before falling asleep -- but possibly always) is just an illusion. It's so paradoxical and odd I'm sure what to say about it.

Hrm. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe this state of consciousnesses (the waking state you're currently in reading this) is just a simulation as well! In which case we're constantly in a simulation? Maybe that's what I saw after all...

Worrying about the afterlife is a trap. It makes you miss the life you are living.

Very interesting  Steel Hawk.I read years ago something that sounded true but I wasn't thinking about it until that time.Scientist sad that our brain make the representation of our body,we actually can't be aware of our body it is neural repr. ,a image, that we can only be aware..no matter sleep or awake.
I think that it is only core, essential difference between successful an not oobers is level of focus attention...now attention can be also involuntary, that doesn't change that is the focus of attention that matters...if you have it in your current attempt you will be successful if you don"t the techniq.or other auxiliaries can't do it for you,it is not visualization per se..but I think we are pretty much on same page on that one.
