The book "The Celestine Prophecy" goes into detail on these coincidences. For a while I thought the book was totally useless, but I found recently that there are a few things in it that could help me with energy. Synchronicity is the first point discussed in the book and the basis for all of the other points.

Hello,I am new to this forum,which I discovered after listening to an interview with Robert Bruce on the Art Bell "COAST TO COAST" radio program.Since listening to that interview I have been experiencing a lot of strange "coincedences",too numerous to mention;however, I would like to share the strangest one...For no reason at all I decided to watch the USAnetwork cable TV channel the day after listening to the Robert Bruce interview.There was a movie just beginning which was entitled"STIGMATA",I had never seen this movie so I decided to watch it.Now I do NOT consider myself a religious person,in spite of being raised a Catholic and attending Catholic school as a kid,if I had to label myself I would use the term "SPIRITUAL-AGNOSTIC",if there is such a term,LOL.Being aware of the Catholic teachings and "ways of the Vatican" ,I was fascinated with this movie,well during a commercial break I turned my computer on and went to Whitley Schrieber's  UNKNOWN COUNTRY WEBSITE to read the headlines of the current articles he has there.Well much to my surprise the very first headline was "SCIENTIST INVESTIGATES STIGMATA"!!!! Now what are the odds of me coming across this article at the same time I was watching the movie STIGMATA? This blew me away,so I started watching the movie while casually scrolling through the article ,when in the movie there was a scene where this bird flys in through a window and flutters around this girl's apartment just before she had a "STIGMATA"episode/possesion and all this dramatic music was playing;this is where it gets strange, at the PRECISE time the bird,in the movie,flew in the window my pet parakeet flies from her cage and lands on my head and squawks real loudly!!!! Now,I have never had an experience quite like this before,it's too weird.  the hair on the back of my neck stood up& I got a chill up and down my spine and  I just sat there as if in a trance or something,not knowing what to think of this "COINCEDENCE/SYNCHRONICITY....After watching the movie  I logged on to this forum and made my first posting with one of my poems,(on the Inegral Philosophy thread)Ever since I have been pondering  LIFE,the UNIVERSE and EVERYTHING!!!!! LOL, I can't get that movie or the experience out of my mind,and I just had to share it with someone,hence this posting....Has anyone ever had a similar experience????What is the nature of |"COINCEDENCES"???Do they happen for a reason are they just RANDOM happennings?
