I'd think understanding animals' minds would be much easier due to the simple nature of the minds. Humans think too much.

Id really like to learn more about the energy bodies of animals, I wonder if they have the same number of chakras as humans or not.

Jilola,
That is sort of my point, but looking at it a different way. They would see things differently than we do. Two people see the same thing differently, so how would something from a different species see it? Something that has grown up with a different culture, values, desires, etc. But you do have a good point. If I knew what it was like to communicate telepathicly than I could probably understand this better.

Fenris,
That is something I have not thought about. I wonder if there is anyway to find out. Very interesting.

Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

Do animals think as we do? Obviously some exhibit strikingly similar behaviour (primates for ex.) but say a dog. Does dog think even on a concrete level about the world or is it just a bunch of instinct directed imagery and needs? If it's the latter then  it should be possible to understand them since we humans share the same needs and urges. If they think on a more abstract level it may turn out to be too different to make any sense of it.

I saw an ad for her recently.  Man, that has to be the easiest gig in the world.  I mean, regular psychics have to be at least partially accurate a good percentage of the time.  But a pet psychic?  You can say whatever you want, and who's going to be able to refute it?   I can take your dog and say "The dog's feeling a little sad, and left out of things..."  How are you going to prove to me that he isn't?  Next time I see an job opening in the paper for a pet psychic, I'm taking it.  http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

Is anyone on here able to do this? On the one hand, if people can communicate with other people telepathicly why not animals? On the other hand, would you really be able to understand an animal's thoughts if you could read their mind? I am curious what others think.

Yeah, I know exactly who you are talking about.  I saw one show where she looked at this cat, and she was like "Your cat is mad because you ignore her."

Gee Sherlock, looks like you made a hit with that prediction.
