How do I change my username?

Hi there!

I would really like to change my username since it is my realname. I unfortunately choose my real name for username when I subscribed to the Astralpulse forum . I now regret this cause I fear for my privacy (when one uses google and types in my real name as searchterm, all of astralpulse posts appear!)
This is quite uncomfortable and hinders my willingness to speak freely about my experiences in my posts.

Is there any way to change my username without loosing my account properties like "post count" etc. ? For example can the Administrator (please!) transfer my active account (at least Password, post count, settings) to a new account?!

Another option if that doesn't work would be to delete this account and make a new one with a different name.

I use an alias, but my real name is quite accessible if you want to find it, I'm not really ashamed of what I post. It's actually a thrill, I wonder when someone will stumble onto what I do...

I'm afraid I haven't been around long enough to know who that is, but it is a very interesting name so I assume it's keeper is similarly so.

Did he leave the boards? Did he like mice, or rubber toys?

You both definately have that dry sense of humor.  

He was a Mod on the old AP forums and is now going to college, so I imagine he is very busy.  Plus I think he was getting disappointed in how the forums were turning out, which I'm glad to say, seems to be getting better.    

I could never understand though, the need to correct people all of the time.  I mean, what are you so lacking in that you feel the need to point out others mistakes?  Does it make you feel smarter, thus giving the impression of being better?

Or maybe it's just one of those things that irritate the heck out of you, like ohhhhhh, someone picking their nose at the table?

I believe everyone is capable of writing standard English, and the idea that they might purposely avoid it to fit into some clique, or that they're too lazy to make the attempt, infuriates me.

I won't, however, jump on a foreigner who has trouble with it but is trying to learn it. That is completely different.

Sooooooo sounds like the person I was referring to.  Perhaps it is my feelings of loss that make me label..or is it lable you?  

I'm not sure what you mean about the "clique" but sounds fun..

Oh come on Tyciol..don't be so Positive Challenged.. Let loose....*dang it, is it loose, or lose?*  See what happens when people have to respond to you...you're like a friggin dictionary..stop that.  It makes me feel stupid, isn't that enough?  You make people feel uptight trying to respond to you, in fear of being corrected.  Or...I could be speaking for myself...either way, ease up oh Mighty One..
