Oh My!! There is so much 'information' out there...so many 'truths' and 'gurus' all promising the answers to the big questions...
I have always avoided 'labels', I hate them. I have read and studied so much on AP, practiced all kinds of things all with limited results if any. My last 'projection' was last night through a dream (I've had loads) but when I comes to consciously 'projecting' it all goes 'breasts up'!
However, always - without fail - whenever I have shifted my awareness 'inside', noticed, listened, I have always and dramatic occurrences. Pictures, voices, sensations...and like a plonk I have at this point I have tried to block these things in order to 'clear my mind'.
I have only very recently discovered the idea of phasing which describes completely what I do and feel when experience these dramatic results. Now I am hungry. I feel I've missed something that's been under my nose all the time. This is a big site and information on phasing is kinda scattered. I have subscribed to Franks newsletter but can anyone tell me where on this site or others or in book form where I can study this in much more depth? Is there a dedicated 'Phasing Forum'?
Thanks guys
Oh and by the way - fantastic site! I wish I'd found this years ago!
All the best
Chris
Hi, Ive heard phasing mentioned before, what is it? could some one please describe it for me, Thanx Marcus
Hi Majour Ka
Friend, I am only beginning to scratch the surface. This site is packed with real quality info, in depth explanations and experiences. At this moment I do not feel qualified to try to explain myself but please spend and hour or so just skipping through some of the topics - there are some fabulous insights. If you take the time you will probably find the answers to most of the fundamental questions - what is it, how is it done, etc - it's all here. At the top of the page there is a search tag, simply do a search for 'phasing' and start wading through the results.
Good luck friend
Well since I am bored and I also happen to love the phasing model, here are some topics to keep you busy ;)

Cool Thanx guys!

This is how I felt when I found this site! :D I knew about OBE, and practiced it for a long time, with no luck. And then I started having these experiences, which I vaguely associated with astral projection, except that they didn't really fit the description of OBE. I started assuming that I was just dreaming or daydreaming, and that my experiences weren't "real" although they felt so much more real than any kind of dream. I was ever so relieved and excited when I happened by here and learned about phasing!
It is a little overwhelming to read all of this stuff, but it's sooo exciting! :D It's truly a treasure trove!
Good luck! I hope we get to share some awesome phasing experiences soon! I'm still very new, and still trying to learn to consciously initiate my phasing. I'm getting to where I'm experiencing some interesting sensations, some more vivid and concrete than others. Slowly I'm learning to "tune in" more clearly and for longer periods. Mostly, though, my phasing experiences just happen on their own. But that's encouraging too! :)
It certainly is encouraging, I would like to know how long you've been practicing and perhaps some of the experiences and obstacles you have overcome so us kinda new to the phasing model know what to expect and perhaps we can check we're on the right track...kinda like following footprints.
Since a child I have had all kinds of psychic experiences (by the way, although I may have my head in the clouds, my feet are firmly on the ground). I have learned to control them to a certain extent and consciously use them. Certain people dismiss psychic abilities as a product of a deranged mind. The same applies to any kind of astral projection/OoBE. However, I have experienced both and many, many times and to not think or believe but know to be true and real.
When consciously using any 'psychic' ability, whether telepathy, psychometry, scrying, anything, there is a positive shift in one's focus inward. The act of perhaps gaining information, telepathic communication, whatever it might be, that process always starts with a focal shift. This is the good part. After the shift the is a quiet intent, then you wait. You do nothing but wait and 'notice'. You allow it to happen. You do not make it happen. Sound familiar? This is why when I started reading about phasing I was practically jumping around in my seat. It sounds exactly the same process - inward focus, gentle intent, and wait.
For now, before I have another hypo and have to breath into a paper bag again, I will focus on the basics before I try to project. Holding that internal focus, not just relaxing, seems a bit of a daunting task. But, like anything, practice, practice, practice - then pizza!
.
I've been experiencing phases only since the end of April, nearly 4 months now. I've been practicing since the end of June, I guess, so about 2 months. So, I'm really new, you see! :)
Here are some of my experiences. Please feel free to comment! :D
My first post, discussing some early experiences, including what seems to have been a spirit guide giving me a demonstration of phasing! (http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=167602&highlight=#167602)
My best and most favorite experience to date--visiting my fiance in Heaven! (http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=167682&highlight=#167682)
A fairly recent experience, though probably more a lucid dream than a projection--I'm still not too sure where the one ends and the other begins. (http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=173047&highlight=#173047)
Another recent one, very different and rather disturbing. (http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=173090&highlight=#173090)
This one was started by another user, but I have experienced this a lot in my practicing--"clicks". (http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=173109&highlight=#173109)
Another one started by another user, in which we discuss the common problem of not being able to disengage the physical eyes. (http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=173042&highlight=#173042)
I hope those prove to be at least somewhat useful!
