Seeing how I am no longer on the physical, I no longer need a physical body to interact with it.

You are assuming that all memories are stored in the physical. If we go on to spiritual experiences then a physical brain seems like a poor container for memories.
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

I think that you would remember things because it would be "imprinted"
in your energy. Your memorys are just as much a part of you as your "soul"
Thats my oppinion..

He was hypothetizing, putting himself in that situation and describing what he sees. Like making a simulation in your mind.

As for my 2 cents on the situation, I think information is not dependant on physical reality and that the astral itself is a world of information. Thus death would be like an ongoing OOBE, until the astral body decays and your conscious reverts to even higher states, if you are aware of them, until you are reborn.

This conversation came up in another thread, I think, or at least, I remember having it somewhere recently.

Anyway, I think of the brain as a processor of information - it doesn't really think for itself, what we term the MIND does that - the brain just interprets an endless (well, until you die) series of electrical signals.

Our conciousness is rooted in our mind, which I don't think is actually physical.

That's just my humble opinion.

P.S. This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

I liked the last description best, personally. I think technology could test that the easiest so more people could believe it.

The most important thing though is I think I've learned something, or at least had new thoughts about the soul because of this, thanks guys [8)]

Lastly, I'll make a new thread like this by monday. Gives me enough time to make a doosey!

I'm going to attempt to make a series of questions that people answer as best they can, and most likely hasn't been discussed before:

First question:
Let's say you die and you go to the astral plane. This means your phsyical body no longer works. How do you remember things at all then, if you have no brain to memorize?
