Wierd times in astral land.....

Ok , while I just learned how to project myself through into astral , I find myself talking to some pretty wierd creatures that where not earthen . It felt as if I was talking to creatures that were part of my race { just like if someone was talking to there mother }. Could someone tell me what this might mean if it means anything?[?]
